Very Cute
I saw this Spooky Town Ghoulish Gourd Pub in Michael's and tried to order it from them (price was way less than Amazon).… it's was pricey getting it from Amazon but it was no where to be found else-where & I really wanted it, so I paid way more ... would have been nice if Amazon matched the Michael's pricing.... I also wanted the Black Raven Manor to go with the pub but that one was completely sold out everywhere! I hope the manufacturer brings it back for next year!

This was a gift i bought for wife she loved it but now she is pissed it stopped woking..It has been working great, the motor quit working the pumpkin, lid on it quit working and the other Pumpkin stopped moving side ways, all the moving parts have no movement at all, beware of buying this piece of junk, I do not recommend, you have been warrend..

(BROKEN) I'm not thrilled with the quality of these things for how much I paid for it.
The media could not be loaded. I'm sad and kind of disappointed to have to make this review, but this is where I'm at now. For starters, for how much this is, it doesn't come with it's own power supply. You have to either sacrifice another device in the house or order one online. I've seen and heard of cases where people have accidentally fried the sound boards on these because they plugged it into an adapter with its voltage rated too high. I recommend using an adapter NO HIGHER than 5 volts DC. If you actually did get lucky and purchase a Ghoulish Gourd that came clean, you're gonna wanna keep it that way. Even if you usually have the sound off anyway. The motors going too fast may also break the belts in the pumpkins or strip gears on the face mechanism of the face shifting Pumpkin. Just a heads up, this has probably happened to people. A healthier Ghoulish Gourd house may have good value one day, or last longer. So plug in a low voltage adapter. Now onto my experience. I got this last year and it came with a small problem. The only thing that was wrong with it overall at the time was that the Green LED light for the figurine guy on the deck never worked. The Pumpkin drinking from the barrel was lit, but wasn't moving. I was able to dodge a bullet and carefully push down on the Pumpkin top gently while the motor was ruining which popped the belt back in place with the pulleys. After that, it worked just fine ever since. I'm aware alot of you weren't as lucky. Couldn't get that light working again but I felt lucky that it was the only problem it had and didn't want to break it more, so it wasn't a huge problem to me. Now fast forward about a year later. I kept it's box and I stored it away for the changing seasons and now that Halloween is around the corner again, I noticed it developed another issue. The DC input port you plug your power supply in was loose. I've been able to fix it temporarily for awhile, but it's just gotten worse and worse and more finicky. Now it will barely budge. I must mention I did NOT store it away with the power supply still plugged in, so there's just no reason to me that makes any sense on why this would be happening. The most logical reason would be it has terrible solder joints and the plug was soldered on in a crappy way during manufacturing. I should also mention this house has never been dropped once and the cord has always been out of the way from people tripping on it. So again, I just don't get why out of all things, the one part that makes the ENTIRE thing work at all, is broke. I'm more sad and disappointed rather than angry, but where my frustration lies is I don't want to risk buying another one and this happening again, it seems these Lemax houses can get damaged easily during shipping, but also seem to likely have problems from right out of the factory. So I just don't want to risk it. I most likely can't return this because even if I have the actual box itself, it's about a year old now and the Amazon shipping box and info for it is long gone. Leaving me no choice but to try and fix it which is probably the better option regardless. The issue is they make it difficult to take apart because there's no screws! It's all adhesive glue! So I had to do research on YouTube on how to take these things apart and I haven't yet because I'm gong to need some supplies. I'm likely going to have to heat it from the bottom and take the pad off and solder the port with a better connection, and if I'm lucky, fix the broken light. Yet I still don't know if I'll even be able to fix it! I haven't soldered in a few years. I honestly don't know if I'll do it because I don't want to risk breaking it more! So I'm just very disappointed in the outcome of it's quality, considering how much I paid for this. If it doesn't work at all, I might aswell try to fix it instead of risking similar or even other issues with new ones. Because it seems other reviewers have already tried that.

Fun but a little loud
This is super cute and I really like it but I have it a four because it is loud. I actually wound up unplugging it because it was distracting even with the TV on. I wish there was an option to just turn the lights on without the rotating head portion.

Broken
The media could not be loaded. The item arrived in original packaging and in a never been opened condition so the fault of it being broken lies on the manufacturer and not the seller. The pumpkin on the right side does not raise and lower its top. After paying almost fifty dollars in shipping/handling and import fees it is not worth the headache to return it and wait for another to arrive with quite possibly the exact same problem. Reading other reviews this is a very common problem with this item right out of the box.

Super cute, true to Lemax spooky town . The pumpkins at the top of the building are animated and there is music. It has a volume switch. Works great
