Update after two months in the high pollen season in SW Ohio. I am glad I found these filters!
UPDATE: Pollen season started more than a month ago in SW Ohio. I have been using one filter/day for about 2 months. My nose allergy symptoms have significantly decreased. I only use my allergy nasal spray at night, before bed; and, maybe once a week, I take an oral antihistamine for some whole-body allergic symptoms. Before the nose filters, I had to take oral antihistamine daily from March to the first frost, in addition to my allergy nasal spray. To check the efficiency of the filters, one day I decided not to use them. By midafternoon, my nose was bright red, itching, and running like crazy. So, the next day, before I put the filters on, I did a nasal rinse. I have not stopped using the filters daily since, and now things are much better, like before. I have been using both types of filters, the 3M and the Welder's version. Both work for me, with the 3M being more comfortable. I put them on as soon as I wake up, and I take them out right before going to bed, because I sleep with a CPAP. I do not know if people notice them, or if they are just being polite by not asking me about them. It does not matter to me. I will continue using them as needed. They are really a life-changing devices, for the better. My first time.I got the Trial Size, and like with the Welder's version, the XL is the winner. My review is a comparisson with the Welder version, which I tried for the first time yesterday, for more than 12 hours straight. I did the same with the 3M.The 3M version is softer, its "presence" in the nose is easier to ignore.Because of its softeness, the 3M version is a touch harder to accomodate inside the nose. I had to try several times, whereas with the Welder's version it was easier.Once properly set, it does its job of filtering what is supposed to filter. Same as the Welders' version.I am "sensitive" to one of my cats, and with either one of the filters I had no issues whatsoever. Both did not cause any irritation whatsoever inside my nose. One interesting observation: With the 3M version, I can see the filtration membrane moving back-and-forth as I inhale/exhale; whereas with the Welders' version I could not.So, my conclussion is: you cannot go wrong with either one. If you prefer the slight better comfort inside the nose, in spite of being a little harder to insert properly, go with the 3M.I am going to have both versions with me, for now.It is not Spring here in SW Ohio yet. That will be the next real test for me.Then, I plan to travel to the Caribbean (forever Spring) in the summer. Another real test for me.Then, at the end of summer, ragweed season. That is the nuclear test for me!!I will update me review then.

Well.....
I BOUGHT THE WRONG SIZE, TOO SMALL. ORDERED THE LARGE AFTER SEEING THE SIZE OF THE SMALL. DEVICE SEEMS WELL MADE EXCEPT FOR THE FLIMSY CONNECTOR, WHICH CAME APART AS I WAS TRYING TO USE IT, THUS THE THREE STARS.

They fall out & design makes unwearable
I was to get these nasal filters because I thought I had found a product that would actually work. However I was really disappointed with this. First of all the design is incredibly uncomfortable they do not stay in your nostril. You have to have a really wide nostril for the filters to fit. Even when I shoved them in halfway up my nose they still would not fit so they were basically a complete waste of money because you cannot wear them I am shocked that they had good reviews and I would recommend something different. Either invest in a mask to wear over your face or invest in some sort of allergen blocking nasal gel I have bought a great allergen blocking nasal gel from Amazon they have many different types but for me it’s a great product because it does seem to cut down on the allergens entering my body and I noticed that when I wear it I do not get the symptoms that I normally would if I wouldn’t wear it for example when I don’t wear it my nose will run I will get a headache I will get congested and I’ll feel tired when I put it on in the morning. After bathing and having my nose Celine rinsed it is really really effective for me especially with my problems and sensitivities to mold

Good but Xsmall is the wrong shape and not refundable
If the small in the trial pack is ALMOST the right size, the XSMALL is a totally different shape - so the slightly smaller size might not be the answer for you. PLUS IT IS NON REFUNDABLE so proceed with caution on the size Xsmall. $20 worth of garbage now.Overall, the size small is very helpful but I wish it was a liiiiitle smaller.I got a trial set of these and the small fit, but was a bit too big for my small nose. The shape of the xsmall is a circle, not the same shape as the other sizes. This means it doesn’t sit in the nose properly (basically it leaves a pocket where air can push through) and I have to push it further back than the smaller clear string that attaches both, will allow on both sides, to get the gap to seal. The design of the xsmall is flawed and disappointing, but the size small flairs my nostrils too much. I wish they had the same shape as the other sizes, and it's a huge bummer because they do not offer Xsmall in the trial pack. The Xsmall is a CIRCLE vs. the shape of the others. It actually pushes my nostrils out the same way as the small and has a gap. The small was fine for wearing at night to block dander etc but too big for wearing during the day because of the extra pressure with the sizing + the dynamics of daytime breathing vs. sleeping. Extremely disappointed that the product is that much different than the other sizes.... Maybe that's why they do not include it in the trial pack.

Love them
Comfortable, easy to breathe through--yet seem to help filter out stuff going in my nose. Great for airplanes or other crowed areas where you don't want to breath someone else's human exhaust.
