MISLEADING REVIEWS - HERE IS MY TRUE REVIEW
I was put off buying this at first by reading other peoples reviews , saying edited episodes , grainy pictures , poor box etc etc , i however bit the bullet and bought the set , as far as the episodes been edited / cut - i could not see any evidence of this so i checked it out on Wikipedia and other sources and found out that the running time of each episode was between 43-44 minutes which is actually what it was when i was watching them all.As far as the pictures been grainy , well if we are comparing everything with HD and BluRay then it might look that way - however i had no problem with the picture at all.Everybody is saying this is a Region 4 set , it actually says on the back of my Box ALL REGIONS , the barcode for mine was 9337369019642 if that helps anybody when they are buying it.You may think the price is expensive - but please dont be put off you are getting 42 discs with 152 episodes on - in my opinion well worth it.Lastly Product Review as far as episodes , well this will be as with everything in life , everybody has their own opinion , most of the episodes were very good and interesting , the ones i didnt enjoy were the episodes on a Space Ship - i found them very claustrophobic in content , not many characters in the episode and the stories seemed to be just thrown together , the best episodes for me were the Time Travel episodes with Alex Diakun carrying out a superb and eerie role as the Time Traveller and also in another episode called Alien Shop as the Shopkeeper (a bit reminiscent of Peter Cushing in From Beyond the Grave).Well there you go my opinion and review - enjoy - i did ............................

Great value for so many episodes
Was very hesitant of buying this based on previous reviews. BUT very happy as all discs played and episode quality (up scaled) through my player looked pretty decent.Cardboard box was damaged and flimsy but personally don’t care about that. Content speaks for itself - if you love Outer Limits - it’s awesome!

Good Nostalgia
Although this series probably went on for a couple of seasons too long, I used to really enjoy watching the episodes when I was a teenager and so got some satisfaction from re-watching them now. As with any anthology series, the episodes are bound to be hit and miss - some are very dated but some are still excellent. So overall a good experience if you enjoy all sorts of different sci-fi and if you've got plenty of time to binge-watch!

One shouldn't have to do this, but.....
When I saw this collection for £84. I could't resist, and went ahead to purchase this boxed collection. I remember watching "The outer limits 1995" on TV along with "The X files", so I thought this would keep me happy for a while. When the package arrived, It didn't look like the one in the picture, In fact it was a plain brown cardboard box containing the seven seasons of "The Outer Limits" stretch sealed in plastic. These discs were the French Canadian edition the same as another item on Amazon;- ASIN : B004E5BQDWManufacturer reference : TRkinThese are region 1 discs, which I didn't order. I was just about to send them back for a refund, then decided just to try watching a disc in my region 2 player... Well, they mostly play OK, so obviously they are not region protected, the same as the region 4 boxed set (yes, I've read the other reviews) which should have been sent. So I'm enjoying watching "The Outer limits 1995" again, but when I say "they mostly play OK", I mean that some of the discs can't be read because they are scratched due to the way they have been packed in those horrible 6 disc DVD cases. Still reluctant to to return these items as faulty because of the low price I paid for them, I've so far managed to rescue the few scratched discs that have been casing problems by polishing then with Turtle wax which I normally use on the car, and that seems to work. Like I say, One shouldn't have to do this, all because someone has decided to cram 6 discs in one box. Like other people have suggested, I put the discs away in individual cases which take up a lot more space, but at least it prevents other discs rubbing against each other. All in all though, it's a good series, and hopefully it will be re-released on Blue ray in the future, albeit with better packaging.
