I'm preparing to perform the role of "The Big Bad Wolf" in our local theatre production of "Shrek: The Musical". In case you haven't seen the play, the Wolf is, shall we say, partial to ladies' garments? The very mean "Lord Farquuad" tore her cotton granny dress and called him a hot 'n tranny mess!My director asked me to find an outrageous (Yet stylish!) pair of go go boots to adorn the Wolf's sequined party dress for "her" big "reveal" at the end of the show. The hunt was on, but where to start? Where else, but Amazon?! I wear a size 11 men's shoe, and found out that womens' sizes are to be a good 2 numbers up from the mens. Aha! So why are we discussing the merits of a size 14 instead of 13, you ask? Because, dear reader of reviews, I did just what are doing now; research! I am grateful to fellow reviewers who had stated their boots ran on the small side. That, added with the free returns peace of mind, led me to purchase these size 14's.The fit: They are very comfortable! Now I know it sounds crazy, but I am not used to wearing heels! The stack and extra tall heel looked daunting at first, and I stood near by several tall pieces of furniture for support, and my wife helped me get my balance (she never snickered, nor uttered any sigh of derision!) the balance was quite comfortable and easier to navigate than I had expected; a good thing, since there is a bit of choreography to be performed, and I have every confidence it can be done in these boots! My calves are not crammed into these, and so no need to get the wide size.The finish: These are the white patent stretch, and they are quite glossy! The side zipper works easily, with no appearance of stress at the seams.The result: One very satisfied actor who is excited to strut his "Wolfish" stuff for the production! My son starred as Sam Carmichael in his high school musical representation of Mamma Mia and he and the costume designer got the bright idea for the "Dads" to come out for "Waterloo" scene in their disco suits wearing these boots, and it ended up being one of the highlights of the show! Seeing 3 outstanding performing teenaged boys dance and sing in these boots was hilarious and wonderful. The boots held up performance after performance, and the boys said they were surprisingly comfortable and easy to dance in despite being 5" high. As a mom I appreciate that the boots were available in their size (12 men's) and arrived so quickly.

I gave them 5 stars because once I get the right size, they'll be perfect. Most reviews say they are true to size, and because I can vary between a 9 and a 9.5 depending on the shoe, I ordered a 10 to be on the safe side. I'd just order a similar pair of wonder woman shoes and the 9 was JUST too small; my toes crunched against the front enough to be uncomfortable. So I'm waiting on a 10 in those, and I thought I should be good with a 10 on these... but NOPE, they fit EXACTLY like the 9 did...squished toes just enough to be uncomfortable. It's more likely I got a 9 mislabeled as a 10, but I'm going to have to exchange for an 11. I cringe at the thought, because I've NEVER worn a size 11. A 10 is almost always too big. A little inconvenient, but I'm in a quest for the perfect boots for my cosplay...I know these are it if I can just get the right size :) Also, my calves are 14" and they were a little snug zipping up, but they are patent leather, so they'll stretch enough to be comfortable after a little wear. Any bigger than 14" probably won't zip up.

Unfortunately, these are just too small. I have several other boots and shoes from the same company in the same size, and they all fit comfortably, and sometimes a little big, These I could not even get on my foot, let alone zip them up. Too bad, because they looked really sexy, but they just didn't fit well. I tried to exchange for a different size, but they did not have anything in the next few sizes up. I purchased these boots in the black patent and they are so adorable!!! I didn't have any problem getting them on my legs, you do have to "stretch" them across most of you leg but that is how gogo boots always were in the old days!:) If your patient and maybe have someone help you they are not hard to get on, just be careful at the top that you hold the two edges as close together as you can so you don't zip your leg in the zipper. They do stretch out after a couple wears so if they feel uncomfortably tight just wear them a few times around the house and bend and squat a few times each time you work them in. They will give and then be more comfortable. Note: they will bunch up around the ankle if you don't make sure you keep them fully stretched up your leg, so make sure when you put them on you have them completely smooth.

Fit very nice. I'm usually a size 7.5-8 so I ordered an 8 and they fit just well enough to have a sock on and still be comfortable. They are just about as comfortable as you would expect for a heel of this size so I can't complain. They arrived in the right color and they were in perfect condition. The only problems I have are that the top of the zipper is very scratchy and can scratch through leggings and that there is very little traction on the base of the foot and it is very easy to slip. I heard many complaints about they boots not fitting around their calves but I have small legs so i didn't have this issue. These are very nice boots overall. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another pair if I needed.

Boots were purchased for a fashion show, but needed to be returned for a bigger size. Boots were tight and hard to zip up. I requested a refund and ordered a size up. Was charged a $30 restocking fee. This was not mentioned during the return process. I literally sent them back the same day I received them and ordered a size up smh. And it took a while to get my $30 back. After getting the correct size they were perfect. Very comfortable. I will not be ordering from them again due to the miscommunication with the return process

Ja ich hatte nach 5-6 Stunden Disco tanzen beim ersten Mal kleine Blasen. Aber ich bin groß und habe Größe 43. sie sehen toll aus und sind richtig gut und nicht zu eng geschnitten. Meine Beine sind aber nicht zu umfangreich, sodass es für jemand mit mehr bein Umfang vielleicht im Schaft zu eng wäre

Meine Frau hat, weil sie einen sehr schmalen Fuß sich die Stiefel in ihrer normalen grösse bestellt. Und ich muss sagen es kommt selten vor, aber passt wie angegossen. Auch der Schaft bei Gr.37passt sehr gut. Ist etwas für schlanke Waden. Die etwas rundliche Sohle Ware beim stehen etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig,aber sie ist sehr zufrieden damit
