Great but not as loud as expected
This product is good value, is not badly put together and does all it claims to do. My only reservation is that the sound they make is not as loud as I expected and could mean it would be harder to find items in drawers, under cushions, etc. Those with poor hearing may have difficulty too although the led light will no doubt be a boon if the item is in sight.

Great value for 8 receiver fobs
I have had one of these fobs before but it was only one, unlike this set which contains eight fobs, enough for the family. They work pretty much the same as the single one that I have; each fob receiver contains a button battery and the remote like device has eight different coloured buttons to match. Each of the fob receivers comes with a button battery, the remote requires two AAA batteries which aren't in the pack. The fobs are identified by letters and colours but stickers are provided to attach to the remote to remind us which one matches up with which receiver. At the moment I only have one attached to my bunch of keys and another to the car keys but will label them when I use more.I just press the coloured key on the remote for the keys/device I want and a loud high pitched bleep is heard and a flash on the fob. I have only used them in the house and garden so far and find they work really well. I think I will also attach one to my phone, another item I put down and often can't remember where! This set is great, I paid about £15.00 for the single fob and remote last time, so for a set of eight this really represents excellent value.

Batteries only last a month or so.
Although the device works as intended, the down side is that after 4 to 6 weeks, the batteries go flat and consequently the individual tags don't work. This suggests that the standby current is too high and gradually drains the batteries so that when you finally need to use the Finder because you've mislaid your car keys etc., the location tags no longer beeb. The only solution therefore is to replace the batteries every 6 to 8 weeks which over the year means the maintenance costs are high as batteries are expensive. I've tried rechargeable 2032 batteries but they don't hold their charge for very long at all. If anyone reading this knows where I can get top quality rechargeable 2032 batteries, please reply and let me know. Thanks.

A memory loss sanity saver!
I bought these to save my mums sanity, my dad has memory loss and many hours and days were spent looking for keys, telephones, remote controls and with this simple gadget my mum can reclaim her life although she has to hide the main unit so that my dad doesn’t loose it ! She’s even put a tag on the secateurs

Handy gadget!
Nice piece of kit for finding keys etc about the house although if the noise emitter side is facing down you have to listen a little harder to trace them. I haven’t had occasion to locate anything outside (thankfully) but imagine you should hear ok if you roughly know where you dropped an item. Still using original batteries supplied for all the receivers and transmitter since mid-June.
