I know this was intended to be a vase, but I bought it for displaying seashells and beach sand. It worked out perfect for the size of where I wanted to place it. One feature it asked to rate on is "Light Weight". I rated it at a 3 only because it should not be and is not "light", for it's glass. It is exactly what it should be for weight. If I wanted it to be light weight, it would be clear plastic, and easily scratched. That's why I searched specifically for glass.

I love this vase for showcasing cherry blossom or other large impressive branches, looks great on a kitchen island or a large window

The vase itself is very nice. The complication comes from filling it. It needs A LOT of flowers to look good. Also, as much as I try, the stems criss cross and look very disorganized in the glass. I put different color tissue paper around it to cover it up, which is the purple you see in the photo.This is displayed up on a mantle above a fireplace, so the flowers need to be spread out to be seen and to take up the big space that is there. The vase definitely does its job in that regard, but it takes me quite a while to get it right.I think there are clear spacers that I could buy to put in the vase so the flowers stand upright better, but I haven't investigated that yet. I probably will though.

Bought these to sit in my bathroom window with plants.perfect.

I purchased this to replace a similar vase I had purchased years ago at Crate and Barrel. The price was reasonable but shipping doubled it. I tried to return it but would have been charged for shipping which would have absorbed any refund.It is not stable. It wobbles when empty. We tried putting flowers in it and even using heavy glass marbles as a 2' base, it is very unsafe.The glass quality is good. Ther are no air bubbles. Shame it is unusable.Do not purchase.

Because of the shape of this vase it makes for a full, dramatic presentation of flowers. I wouldn’t recommend as a fish tank, it is a flower vase and very sturdy, large and accommodates a big arrangement. If you enjoy cut flowers in your house, this is a great vase.
