I thought $27 was a bit much for a toilet seat, but after going threw numerous cheaper seats, I caved and got this one. Now I think $27 was a steal!!! This seat belongs in a much nicer bathroom!!! Lmao I love it. It's super classy looking and matches the hardware in the bathroom perfectly. It's also super strong!!! Does not slam. The lid goes down slowly. Installation was easy and pretty standard. Wipes clean easily. I've already sent links to all my big bootie friends and family!!! Which is all of us!!!!!

I wanted to replace all our old toilet seats, as I wanted the slow close design...I priced them at numerous stores and found Amazon had the best price by far. I purchased a total of three seats and love how they look and especially love that they are all "slow close," no more banging toilet seats. Thank you!

This has been the biggest ordeal putting a toilet seat on a toilet I’ve ever dealt with. First, the seat is acts nice look, but that hardware on the back is ridiculous!!!! I spent over a half hour twisting and turning and it still slants sideways when I open it! I have never in my life been so intimate with the back of a toilet. I just hope it lasts years, because I can’t imagine having to do that again anytime soon. Can’t someone make seats that are comfortable and easy to install without silly hardware that only makes sense to the person who created it!!!!????!!!! I am updating my experience now that I’ve had the seat for a couple of weeks and I must say it is very attractive and a nice quality. I’ve added a couple more stars, but can’t give it the full five stars because of the ordeal described above.

We got the round toilet seat and it nicely fit our very old bowl. The seat is elegant and beautiful. My favorite are the black hinges and shiny white coating. Oh, yes, and the soft close! It feels very sturdy and locked in place. My husband said it was easier to install than others, and took only 15 min. Overall, it was a great purchase. I prefer when the cover of a toilet seat is vertically (flush) aligned with the seat instead of it being beveled, so that I don't have to stick my fingers midway on the seat in order to open it. So, I've adapted to using the side of the cover to open now. My complaint is about the manufacturer's pictures which can be misleading.

UPDATE: We're a year in, and it's still holding strong! More so than its other brand predecessors, three times in a nine-year span. Also, I do not have any peeling paint as stated in one of the other reviews. Love the toilet seat itself. We will see if I should have paid more attention to the ‘peeling paint’ reviews with updates. (no men or boys in the house!) The first one, I thought, was just a defect. The left hinge has separated slightly, allowing you to see the clear/white plastic insert. Fast forward to almost standing on my head to remove the replacement for my last cheap one, then to the replacement for the replacement, and you guessed it. Now, it is separated on the right hinge. So if ‘uneven things’ annoy you, keep shopping. I gave up and will not take this off to find a replacement. I will call it a day and maybe hit it with a black Sharpie, so it’s not so obvious. It’s a shame, but the seat is good and sturdy so far; I'm just disappointed with the hinges. This could possibly be because this toilet is the original since I moved in; how long it was here before that, who knows? Perhaps it's twenty years old, and perhaps the main holes are just a hair wider than those of a newer toilet. (I live in a rental - you do the math!) Bonus: the replacement does not have a tiny imperfection on the lid. Yes, we're back to that OCD thing again!

It’s perfect. It’s attractive, seemingly sturdy, easy to install and closes softly and quietly. Replacing the original, whose finish was worn after years of cleaning. Note, do not use a bleach cleaner. It will dull the finish.

I very much like the appearance and quality of this product 's construction. It works very well as advertised.

Took a long time to arrive and when it did the toilet seat was scratched and the fittings broken.

I first bought one to try on the guest bathroom toilet but ended up buying a second one for the master bedroom bathroom! They have the soft close so quiet when closing and very sturdy and solid to sit on!
