Great Reference
Explains pathophysiology better than most academic books. Was initially hesitant to buy this book due to reviewers' comments about having to subscribe online for more information. Perhaps that was for an E-book. I don't see any issue with the hard copy I bought (as good as new). This book is comprehensive and does not require additional information that you need to buy online.

Great book for a general overview of pharmacology
Book was new and in good condition. It’s a great book to give general overview of most classes of medications. Doesn’t give enough info to become a specialist. It’s probably the best genre book for most pharmacy students. We used another edition while in pharmacy school but it was used in almost every class. This is the third edition I’ve owned

Exactly What I Was Looking For
I'm a student pharmacist and a visual learner and despite access to the online version of this book through my school, I was looking to own it in person as often having the physical copy helps me a lot! I've heard stories in school, but the size of this book still surprised me - it is MASSIVE, and probably weighs like 10 lbs (that's what it feels like at least). So far very happy with it - my only real complaint is that at the ends of the book it's harder to read the words on the middle inside and harder to highlight them but I'm not sure that's a fixable problem.I was worried at first about the reviews commenting on the lack of printed eChapter content - but I've found that all the eChapters are available for free online and that works perfectly fine with me. There are significant full sections that way but it hasn't become a bother to me - probably a good trade off for the size of the book.

ZERO stars.... good luck with eChapters
Product description is very very misleading, there's NO FREE online content. You need to pay $595 yearly subscription to view the eChapters (and Access Pharmacy website sucks-slow, not organized, not user friendly overall). As some reviewers say, online content from older edition are available, but there are NEW chapters on the 11th ed that is nowhere to be found without subscription. For example, crit care is new in 11th, so if you want to review critical care stuff you either pay 600 to view online or you are doomed. I guess it's my bad not to read reviews thoroughly before clicking the purchase button... I contacted Amazon about misleading info on the product page, hopefully it gets fixed.

Requires subscription to view additional chapters
This did not help , most chapters must be accessed online through subscription $600 per year ! His only gives you key points , not worth my money , refund.

Online portion is from previous edition
Some chapters have sections that must be accessed through the online book. This constitutes a significant portion of the material. Many chapters will just contain an overview of the chapter then redirect you to the online chapters for the information. So far they have only made the old edition's (10e) content available for free. The 11e material, which is what you pay for when you purchase the book, is not fully accessible without a subscription for a hefty sum.If this is temporary as the book just recently released, or if I'm just not following the right directions, some assistance would be appreciated. Otherwise why would I pay for a book if it's just going to redirect me to other paid resources?
