Proven Winners - Spiraea jap. Double Play Big Bang (Spirea) Shrub, large pink flw., #3 - Size Container

I ordered the Magic Carpet Spirea and it arrived beautiful and healthy. I have to admit I wasn’t sure what to expect because I’ve never ordered a plant through Amazon, so I was both surprised and happy. It was packed very well in a box and wrapped safely in a plastic drawstring bag and braced with a cardboard ring to keep it stable. The soil was nice and moist and best of all it was not root bound like some plants from our local nursery. I ordered another one and will definitely try this again.

I have bought plants online before, but this vendor blew me away! Plant size enormous; healthy; packaging OUT OF THIS WORLD! Not a leaf out of place and all the soil in the pot. The price was the BEST after searching around. Will not hesitate to order from this seller in the future.

Beautiful plant! I’m very impressed with the size and quality of the plant. The shipper was not gentle at all with my plant, however, and the box was all torn up and the dirt had come loose everywhere and some of the branches had been broken. I am hopeful that this plant will still be ok with TLC. If the box had been more sturdy (it was completely dented in) I think this plant would have been perfect. Still the shipping company should have been more careful. Update: my plant is recovering well! I believe that this plant was in excellent condition when it left the seller and unfortunately it just got mangled during shipping. The box was horribly smashed and the side of it was torn like something big had fallen on it in transit. Some branches were broken. But this little plant is alive and well, a bit lopsided on one side now, but it’s a beautiful bright green and it has blossoms all over it. I’m happy with the plant and I’ve been wanting one of these for a long time, just disappointed that the shipper wasn’t more careful or the box maybe could have been a bit stronger. However, due to the quality of the plant itself, I would definitely purchase from this seller again.

I was so hinky about ordering plants, especially expensive plants, online. I. was. wrong. These arrived so carefully packaged and were just as lush and healthy as you could hope for. I can't wait to get them planted. I will be ordering more!

Bought this last fall. Planted it and kept watered during the winter. Don't let it dry out. the photo shows it after it's been growing for a bit so it's about twice the size as it was when I received it, maybe three times actually. It did have white flowers on it in the early spring, but those are gone now.

The plant looks good and large BUT IT CAME FULL OF APHIDS ON THE STEMS. You should examine more carefully your plants before selling them to buyers.
