Delicious
These are the best olives I've found - very tasty. I use them in salads, in pasta sauce, and as snacks. Full of flavour. (Not recommended for people who don't really like olives!) Well packaged, in resealable bag. The simplest pasta sauce is: (1) gently fry a little chopped garlic in olive oil, (2) add passata or tinned tomatoes, (3) add olives, capers and sometimes a little anchovy if I have any. Delizioso! Oh and some chilli if to your liking. Some asked about additives: they only have salt and sunflower oil added.

Excellent alternative
Theses semi-dried black olives provide and excellent alternative to the standard Crespo olives that no longer appear to be available. They are a bit softer and a bit saltier but they taste excellent. I regularly use them for cooking, especially as an add on to pizzas, where they retain the depth of flavour generally missing from canned or bottled olives.

Good strong taste
I was looking for black greek style olives but as I couldn't find what I wanted I bought these (the kilo size). They were packed all together in one sealed plastic bag. This was in an outer plastic bag with a clip opening so the bag can be re-sealed. They are mostly pitted but of about twenty so far used, one of them contained a stone which gave my teeth a bit of a shock. The olives are relatively small but they have a good fleshy consistency, they aren't disintegrating like some. They aren't all whole olives, there are some partial pieces but the bulk are intact. The taste is what I wanted for the style of olives. It's strong but not too bitter and there is salt but not overly so. I'd happily buy these again.

Not as good as before
This is the third time we have ordered these olives (1k) and the first 2 lots were delicious. This most recent batch, however, contains watery liquid (not like oil) and the olives are incredibly salty so not nearly as good as previously. Maybe it was just a load from the bottom of the barrel but it’s such a shame. Probably won’t buy them again. ,

Perfect pizza olives
I have like others been looking in vain for a replacement for the discontinued Crespo dried black olives 'du marché' - these are them, finally, but even better. Superb no nonsense product - so far bought the 1kg and freeze 2/3 but I imagine my new pizza oven will mean more will be used! Excellent.
