Very comfortable!
I love these boots. Took a minute to get them - I thought they were lost in the mail - but they are worth the wait. I have problems with Achilles tendonitis, and these boots really are the most comfortable shoes I have for the issue. I added the extra arch support and both lifters that were included. The ONLY thing I hate about them is they are SO LOUD on hard floors. You can hear me coming a mile away. Oh well, not trying to sneak up on people anyway. I thoroughly recommend these.

Bottoms are very slick
I have almost fallen many times due to how slick the bottom of this boot is.

Tired Teacher Searching For Comfy Shoes
What buyers need to know:Runs a bit narrow. 7 W fits more like a 7 m.Layers are removable. The arch support is good. The spacers are hard and the removable sole is about a 3 on the cushion scale. (Not quite enough for my foot issues.)**Deep enough to accommodate your own orthodic/choice of insole!!!**Looks nice. Cuter than other orthodic shoes I've looked at. Seems to be authentic leather. If you don't mind the seams across the toe it's a cute boot.Leaves black streaks on school tile floors, but not on my ceramic tile floors and home.More details/ my story:In my early 30s I had a surgery to put a screw in my upper right foot. Due to swelling of the scar tissue and painful tenderness near the screw, I need an orthopedic footbed with LOTS of cushion. The included inserts were not enough to prevent foot pain. Very hard.I am a true 7, rarely need wide, BUT all boots this season I've tried (in just about every comfort brand out there) have run very narrow. I ordered a 7 W in these Ortho Feet boots as I have sent back about eight pairs of boots from other comfort brands. The 7 W finally was the right fit.I chose Ortho feet as they advertised layers which can be removed. I thought would help with warm winter socks. This also allowed me to remove the spacers and put in a Dr. schools ultra cushy insole.I hope later to have an orthodic insert made. This shoe is deep enough to accommodate one if you need it.

Returned
I ordered the size using their guide and what came was too small. Boot looked ok but it was a nightmare trying to return. Was left on hold for 32 minutes before I finally hung up with Orthofoot. Decided not to order 1/2 size up because of terrible customer service experience.

I wanted to love these…
I wanted to love these so much. I actually ordered a pair months ago directly from the seller in 8 wide. I have a bunion on my left foot but narrow heels. The 8 wide was way too big.I returned them but was still searching for ankle boots with arch support, and these are the only ones that have the whole package. I took a chance and ordered just an 8. They pinch my toes! It isn’t completely terrible, and I almost kept them for the looks and arch support, but I had to wear very thin socks, and it’s just not worth the price. I also noticed these shoes have very poor traction. I felt uneasy just walking on my wooden floors, but less trying to get to/from the office in the winter. So close yet a miss.
