Tarot of the Hidden Realm Review: Intuitive, Sensitive, Pure and Beautiful - It is hard to describe exactly how much I love this deck! The cards are actually sort of like a family to me. Lovely images, each one with a special message, nothing too dark or over the top, as I have found in other decks. I like to collect Tarot cards for both readings and artwork. This deck offers a rich visual experience and intuitive messages. Regarding the book by Barbara Moore, it is beautifully written, giving a brief story and background of each card, with just enough information so that you can make a personal interpretation. When compared to the RW system, I would say this deck offers new insights, ideas you may not have thought of before, while still keeping the essence of traditional meanings. Some names have been changed, and there are reasons for this which are explained in the book. For example, The Devil is Shadowdancer, the Tower is The Blasted Beech, and Judgement is Life Renewed. (As you may guess, these new names and interpretations offer a more optimistic world view.) It is just wonderful to explore the layers of these cards! Regarding the artwork, it is quite beautiful, realistic but quasi surreal. The portraits really pull you into this Hidden Realm. Some of them are nontraditional. All are lovely and interesting. The overall feel of the images is Pagan/Celtic, so if you are a fan of these pantheons, you will love this deck! The Heirophant and the Emperor are a bit more 'wizardy' than the traditional decks, and I loved that. Many nature images are used, and some cards are animals. The suit of swords, which is usually quite severe, is here offered in softer and less intimidating imagery. I liked all the cards for different reasons, although I do have my favorites, and you will too! It is a wonderful deck for meditation and the book offers several ways to do this if you are not familiar with Tarot meditations. These are written as an exploration in shamanic journeys, a great bonus. I would recommend this deck for any serious student of Tarot, and also for anyone who loves the Fae realm, or just loves great artwork :) Suberb deck! Review: Lovely addition - Like the book and card images. The cards are a nice size. Card stock not impressed with.

Elemental Wisdom
I've read some reviews complaining that this deck doesn't go by the rider waite tarot or "traditional" tarot. However, if you're a lover of the faerie realm then this deck would be for you. The traditional tarot card speaks to humans from a human perspective and these cards speak to humans from the faerie perspective. I've wanted this deck for a long time and I finally got it after so many years, and I have to say it's my favorite, because I'm so connected to the Elemental Kingdom. This can add additional enlightenment to your messages that are given from the traditional tarot meanings. A win, win! And by the way I feel that the ladies who created this, are completely and absolutely connected to the faerie kingdom too! The messages and art are stunning.

Amazing deck
I love these cards, they're very open and very helpful. I'm good with reading Oracle decks but I have a hard time with different tarot decks (the only deck I've felt connected to besides this one is the Connelly tarot). I've read books saying "learn only from the rider waite Smith deck" but that deck feels so cold and impassive, almost clinical in a way. I couldn't connect with it. Then I saw this deck on Amazon and the artwork pulled me in, all the reviews stated it's different than the RWS deck, and all the images I found showed something I have never seen on a rider waite Smith deck, emotion and understanding. The cards have a balance of darkness and light, each card is different and has its own unique feel and personality, and the deck is very intuitive. When I look at each card I gain different messages that are all very accurate. I used the deck with myself, my mother, and two friends and they were spot on. When I use the cards I feel I'm inside the card speaking to the characters and seeing their environment. Using the cards brings an amazing experience and the guidebook is like reading several small stories that pull you in and have you wanting to know more. It's an extremely good deck. If you have a harder time with it there's a good book out called a magical course in tarot by Michele Morgan. It helps you to tap into your intuition, see the cards in a different light, and encourages you to trust yourself and inner wisdom more than the booklet. The only issue I had with the cards is the Fool card had a small cut on the bottom and I thought about returning it. That was the first communication I had with the cards and I got from the card we all start our journey as a broken person but our journey will bring wonders, healing, and high hopes, honor all the flaws and turn them into strengths. I feel like this deck could be my best friend.
