Amazing play!!!!Though sad the play offers a true depiction of life and dealing with poverty up North through the use of comedy, sex and alcohol. Each individuals story is touching and will most likely leave you crying.

I needed to get hold of the script, as I will be performing this play this year for my drama course at Uni.

I ordered this for my sister and she is more than satisfied with the book and the delivery was fast and well packaged. The book itself was well liked by my sister and she would recommend it to anyone as it is a good play to read/learn.

Ordered for my daughter to assist with her a-levels so I haven't actually read it but I am sure it will be useful.

To say this has no storyline is to not be viewing it as a performer. With the contextual knowledge of the 80's - the political issues, understanding the social and cultural issues of the North - the devastating affects of unemployement on a mass scale, this play has 12 storyline, which run perfectly together. But there are different themes and issues that tie them all together.This was an excellent piece when I performed it - it's interesting and thought provoking. It has it's funny moments but then it's meant to reflect the depression of the inidividuals in a coarse and raw way.Brilliant!!
