Super sturdy!
If you have a dog who is hard on crates, this is the one you want. I have an 80 pound pitbull who can destroy a "normal" crate in about 45 seconds. I called this cage, my dogs "lion cage;" it houses him comfortably, has plenty of room, and most importantly he has not been able to break out of it.

Nice quality but really big!
This is really nice quality however it is HUGE. It was almost the same size as the flimsy wire crate we had but because it’s so solid and up on wheels it looks much bigger. I wish the door had been on the end instead of the middle just for where I need to put it in my room( I have 2 and they are overwhelmingly big .

GSD worthy. Sturdy. Heavy. READ MY REVIEW
Tip. If you don't want your dog on the grate, put the tray where the grate would be and the grate where the tray would be. That is how I have mine set up. I would NEVER have a dog on a grate. I don't understand why ANY manufacturer would do this but at least this one has this designed so that the pan exactly fits inside the cage. Ok. Next. I have an 85 pound purebred german shepherd. I weigh her. Her sire is a working police dog. She easily clears 6 foot fences. She pulled down a 6 foot fence... the entire row and 4x4s down in the ground... as a 6 mo old puppy. She dragged a 200lb statue ahe was tethered to while I working in the garden to the back bc I left her sight line for more than 5 minutes. She jumped through a closed window to attack someone she saw who was attacking me in the street. This dog is s.t.r.o.n.g. She has broken several kennels. The last one was a steel kennel but not this size. Oh, and ya, she is very well trained and is not locked up all the time. But there are times I need her locked up and when I do, I need to know that she will remain confined. Ok. Next order of biz. I agree with other owners. The bars are too wide apart. Again, the manufacturer REALLY needs to address this. My dog can and has pulled stuff into the cage. This can be dangerous. However, she has tried her best to dismantle the cage and bream out and has been unsuccessful. The door, cannot be opened from inside. It's sturdy as heck. I was skeptical. A couple of bars were not in pristine shape when this cage arrived, but I was desperate and figured she would ding it up anyhow, sooo... Ok. It was heavy as F&#@ and wow, it took some time to put together, but oh my, it was worth it. Also, trust me, put on the casters. And learn how to lock them. They DO work. But you have to lock all of them. Haha. Live and learn. If you have an active dog or a working dog like mine, buy this cage. I train dogs. I also board them. I have a client whose dog JUMPS into this cage everytime he comes over. It's his favorite place to nap. Go figure. My gsd loves. It stays cool too, bc it's high off the floor. Now, I'm talking to my bf to see how we can turn this into a piece of furniture since it has casters and is so heavy. Dogs like dens. I think we can put a nice top on it and even cover up a couple of sides and the dog won't even care. If we do, I'll get another for my easy going girl just to match this one. Lol

Very good kennel!
I was initially drawn to this kennel because it has thick metal bars instead of wires like some kennels have. I hate those wire ones because my dog tries to bend them and get out and ends up cutting his nose up on the sharp edges. But this completely solved that! Its incredibly durable so far, and is a really high quality kennel. If you have a dog that likes to escape or forcibly try and push his way out, I really recommend this kennel along with kennel training. What we do for my dog, is we feed him INSIDE the kennel. We first put him in and say "Kennel" and then close him in. then I get his food, bring it to him, and make him eat in there. Anytime you have to leave and put your dog in the kennel, give him a little treat and some toys to let him know this is a nice place just for them! My only complaints, which aren't that big of a deal at all, is that there is this "latch" that keeps the metal sheets underneath the kennel. It is not good at all and is very bendy.... and those sheets kept on falling out when my dog would try and get out and eventually he wouldn't be able to lay down because both sheets were out on the floor and not in the kennel. So that metal thing is not that good... but that's okay because we're just going to get some zip ties to keep them in. My other complaint is that there are only locks on 2 of the 4 wheels and that means that the kennel still slides around, and when it does, it rubs this black stuff on our floor. But hopefully there is a way to clean this up! But other than that, it is a REALLY good kennel. The locks are really sturdy and high quality! I do recommend getting a comfy bed for your pet along with this because the wire sheet that goes in the kennel doesn't look very comfortable by itself. 9.7/10 great kennel!

Decent Crate, few weak points
Definitely not “indestructible” but overall a good crate. Was fairly easy to put together, we opted to buy a cover for it, would recommend one for dogs that shed, the hair gets stuck on the bars easily and maintaining cleanliness around the crate is difficult. The cover kind of traps it, and I wash it out & clean the cover once a week. The first issues we had were broken wheels, and then over the first few months the middle bowed down and made the bottom tray almost inaccessible and cleaning underneath very difficult. Then the spin piece that holds the removable tray and bottom wire part of the crate bends when our dog adjusts sideways. We tighten the screw often to keep it tight and bend the piece back in place, trying not to do it too often so we don’t break it, we think it’s just a weak point. Like I said overall a good crate, just has its weak points & cleanliness issues. We measured our dog, was perfect fit for him and his weight.
