Good stuff. A little goes a long way. It's about 1/2 the price of the popular name brand. Use at your own risk. Whatever fitting has the male threads on it, I put enough product on the male threads to cover about 1/4 inch, and then I turn the fittings upside down so the product runs into all the threads via gravity, and then I snug the 2 fittings together as tightly as I reasonably can by hand. I have been using it on 3000psi hydraulic fittings with zero problems. I did have to take a fitting apart a couple weeks ago (operator error), and the product will allow the user to take fittings and hoses back apart with some effort, but no damage to the hose or fittings. It "dries" to a pasty consistency in the threads, not unlike PTFE paste yet different and different color. I just cleaned the fittings off and started again. Excellent product so far. I have also used this product on low-pressure air compressor hoses and lines. I like this much better than Teflon tape I can tell you. Cleans up with a paper towel. Wipe off the excess and get to work. Hydraulic lines and fittings can be used / put into service almost immediately.
