Durable, Comfortable and Functional
I work HVAC for living and these pants have lasted approximately four years working five days a week, 8+ hours a day. I could not be happier with how these pants have performed on a day-to-day basis loved these pants so much that I had my mother-in-law restitch them but now it’s time to re-order a brand new pair. I paired these pants up with the matching Carhartt kneepad inserts, but will strap on an additional set of kneepads when I know I have to crawl around or be on my knees all day long.

Nice pants
Great pants, I like the look and all the different pockets. My only complaint is that they don’t make anything shorter than a 30 which sucks for the shorter guys. I would pay more money for them if they made them shorter. That’s why I buy 1620 workwear, you can get any size length

Finally!
This is the 3rd pair of work pants with built in knee pads I have tried. The others were just plain awful either in fit, function or both. Although, a bit pricy these paints are extraordinary. Fit perfect, just the right amount of stretch and they actually look good. Multiple very functional pockets that work great. I also bought the Carhart knee pads. Again, a perfect design. Easy to insert and flexible where needed. Read my review and I will save you time trying other brands.

Great work pants
Well being a female in the construction industry gives me barely no options so a belt it is with these pants but love the option to wear the knee pads inside the front pockets. They are holding up well they haven’t ripped since the pocket material is a little thicker. they are a little thick for the hot summer but it real isn’t too bad. I still wear them all summer. I can’t find anything else that has the pockets in the knees for the knee pads to fit inside that works well for a females body. Well I still order a size up and wear a belt but a rave about these pants I hate wearing knee pads that you strap on I ordered the “ Tradies Professional Black Kneepad Inserts, No Strap Knee Pad Insert for Tactical Work Pants” they work great you can barely feel they are in when walking. There knee pads are thinner and more for more flat surfaces like roads. They work great for me a stain bridges so I use them on roads and lifts and some riprap

Consistency of sizing varies
Got two pairs of these pants from the carhartt store in MA. Loved them so decided to get another pair through Amazon. Only thing i found odd was this pair didn't have the 'steel' badge on the rear near the waist. Maybe a older model not too sure. Otherwise great work pant would highly recommend. Also give them a try and if they seem a little big get another pair and return. Out of the 3 i got 2 seemed to be the perfect fit. One pair seemed to run a little big. wear a 34/32 normally in jean and go for a 36/32 in these pants.

Never wearing denim again!
Full time carpenter here. These pants replaced the heavy denim pants I used to wear for work. These Carharrts are now my go-to pants for everyday use in construction. The form fitting stretch of the waistband eliminates the need for a belt, so it’s great for wearing tool bags and not worrying about the belt chafing. The built-in knee pads (sold separately) are amazingly comfortable, as thin and lightweight as they are. Even when wet, the pants stay light, and don’t sag- unlike common denim. I use them for everything from forming/pouring concrete to framing, and even finish work, but they especially shine when roof framing: the stretch of the fabric is a must for climbing through trusses and generally monkeying around without worrying about ripping anything. They are extremely durable under heavy everyday use! I wear a 33-34” waist, with a 34” inseam, and these pants have run true to size so far.

Good purchase
How do you spell been wearing all types of Carhartts for 30 plus years I really do like these pants fit well lots of functional pockets not your typical cotton duck that gets holes burnt in it when I'm welding and the knees where out so fast this is a much better durable breathable stretchy cooler material but not so thin that you freeze in the cold weather Carhartt did a good job on these pants I just wish these companies would Source their manufacturing out to America rather than overseas

Good fit and durability.
These work pants held up for 2 years of heavy use. Working out in the field I regularly climb utility poles, go into attics and under houses. The knee pads work great and still look new. It takes a couple days to get used to them if you've never used them before and I like that you can wash and dry the pants without removing them. The hammer loop on the right side is very useful and the zippers on the pockets are good quality as well. Overall I was satisfied with these pants so I bought them again. I'm 5 10 and weigh 185 the 36W x 32L fit well and didn't shrink much.
