Well designed with good quality materials. No cheap corner cutting, well thought through from A to Z. Very pleased to have successfully searched this item and more than happy to own it...Bloody Good.

Very lightweight and for the price the material quality is good. However, the clips on the tripod nipped my fingers when opening closing them and the paint tray that is hinged on two of the legs, makes the structure unbalanced and likely to tip. Maybe okay inside but not sure of its stability for outside plein air.

The tray is flimsy at the attachment head and legs bow out because they are cheaply made.

This was very easy to set up, Ulta light. Compact easel fits easily into my painting bag. The top and plastic shelf fits nicely in my bag as well and are both very sturdy. I love you can adjust the top part for watercolor. The shelf does a great job holding my painting palette and water. The thing I noticed the top is a little wobbly so best not to over load. But a 12x15 watercolor pad works fine. The easel is light weight so heavy winds could be problematic, I figured hanging my small cooler bag with a few water bottles will help with that. Other possible problem nobs and levers and top latch are all plastic. So important to be gentle with these when adjusting. I noticed too the protective cap, looks like you could put a small camera on it as you can see the screw on top. I have not tried that. So overall I recommend, for the price it's a great entry level easel to see if you enjoy plein air watercolor. Not recommended for any thing using large panels. I look forward to to using this outside and inside as well.

Per la pittura all'aperto è ottimo,non grandissimo come formato ma il peso è leggerissimo da trasportare,minimo ingombro da piegato,deve sostenere solo il peso di un foglio o un blocco .La tavolozza e la plancia sono ben rifinite e ben salde,si può appoggiarvi una scatola di acquerelli in metallo.Non si muove, è regolabile in tutte le angolazioni,e altezze. L'unica attenzione è ripiegare il treppiede telescopico con delicatezza perché essendo di alluminio se si storce una gamba non è possibile ripristinarla come prima.Se volete maggior stabilità si può ancorare con un peso attaccato ad un moschettone sotto.Comunque a questo prezzo e peso piuma è fantastico da portare nello zaino ovunque tu voglia.Lo consiglio assolutamente

This is an ideal easel for plen air painting, lightweight, good for transport. The only disadvantage is that the stability is not so great in conditions with stronger wind. But then that is the property of the aluminium legs. Easels made out of metal part are probably more stable, at the cost of heavy weight for transport. The wind would have to be quite strong to topple this one. The plastic shelf for holding water and paints is a huge plus. The top plastic tablet for the paper is the perfect size, not too big. Still had to buy a large enough bag to carry the plastic tablets separately from the foldable legs. Would recommend for hiking etc.
