Chicken face is disappointing

Some of the letters are really hard to read (especially the red ones). Chicken face looks like a blob. The sunglasses are a dark red brown - maybe it would look better if they were black. I saved the face for last so it was disappointing to end hours of work on that.

Nothing like the picture. Face was a blob, no definition

I had purchased this to make for my god-daughter who loves chickens. It was OK until I got to the face then it was a mess. You could not tell the face--it was a blob of black with no other details.
