OLIVE OIL SEPARATES
The olive oil separates and hard to mix when refrigerated.

Just like I had in Europe!
I had heard this dressing was fantastic, so as soon as it came, I put together a salad with what I could find: tomatoes, avocados, and mozzarella. This dressing is a fantastic balsamic vinaigrette. I love fancy olive oils and vinegars, and this tasted like it was made from the quality stuff. Often, vinaigrette dressings are heavy on the oil, and only spiced with spices, and you can’t even taste the balsamic vinegar it’s made from. All this is “spiced” with is a splash of pomegranate juice. This tastes like it’s closer to ¾ balsamic vinegar. It tastes just like I had when I was an exchange student in Europe. When the dressing is made with this high quality vinegar, it doesn’t have to compensate (like the cheaper brands do) with over-spicing it.

Good flavor.
Says to refrigerate but the olive oil solidifies. I like the dressing otherwise.

Five Stars
Love this on fresh leaf type lettuce. A little thicker consistency would be nice.

A dressing as good as his recipes.
I decided to try a few sauces from this guy after getting his cookbook as a gift (really fantastic - check it out, it's called Zing! by Gorji). This is my go-to salad dressing now. No matter what you have in your salad - greens, nuts, berries, cheese...even straight-up fruit salad, this goes great with it. Call me crazy, but it’s actually also good on ice cream! This is simply a staple condiment. Balsamic vinegars can be a bit harsh on their own, but cut the sting with olive oil and a hint of pomegranate, and you’ve found it. It’s also great on sandwiches, from corned beef to ham to avocado, drip a tablespoon or two over it and enjoy the rush of flavor it adds.
