Banz UV Beach Umbrella

Easy to assemble. I like the way this parasol tilts as its more sturdy especially for beach when it gets windy. I like the screw end to put into sand. Lovely colour red and white stripe. Carry bag is of same quality so should last. Bought to use at the beach and camping, but I have put in my garden until my garden parasol arrives for now.

I really like this umbrella but I'm a bit worried that it might not last long. It doesn't have the usual tilting mechanism, instead it has plastic teeth which you line up and then tighten in place with a plastic screw. Still, at the moment it provides good shade and screws into the sand well.

Lovely umbrella. Brilliant corkscrew at the end to get into the sand. A bit flimsy but for the price a very good item.

bought this to replace a cheap sun umbrella which fell to bits after a few uses. This Banz Noosa umbrella is much better quality and only cost a little more. The pole screws into grass easily and stands firm, I haven't used it at the beach yet so cannot comment

Looks nicer than others that we saw on the beach. Screw on end of parasol great for putting into sand without blowing away. Tilt mechanism really good as can change the angle to various different settings. Sturdy and seems like it will last a good while.

Would have given it four stars but the Clío broke on the second day. Managed to repair it.

Usato per una settimana di mare itinerante ha resistito a vento anche a raffiche più che moderate. Molto pratica la base a vite poichè riesce a penetrare nel terreno con la semplice rotazione. Comodo da ripiegare e da trasportare, aperto risulta ampio e robusto.

This is a very well made umbrella, and a good size and not very heavy with a good wide standing pole. The bag that it comes in is very sturdy with ample room, well made. Those are the pros. But it is advertised as a great umbrella for a windy beach, which is why I bought it. Firstly they expect you to be able to bury the standing pole 35-40cm into the sand with the tiny plastic corkscrew that is attached to the end of the pole. My beach is beautiful powdered sand and I’m not a weakling, but there’s just no way I can get it that far into the sand. By the time I’m done screwing it in I’m bathed in sweat and fed up with the whole thing. There are cheap off the shelf corkscrews that you can buy for 3€ that do a much better job because they are much bigger and much longer. I was considering chopping off the sad little corkscrew but the pole that it is attached to is a lovely wide pole and sadly too big to fit in one of the better corkscrews. That’s not all. So now that you’ve had a strong arm battle with the standing pole you assemble the two parts together, which has a pretty cool but also fiddly and time consuming joining mechanism, which seconds as the tilt, you realise that there is no way to lower the umbrella if the winds are high and gusting. So yours will be stupidly the highest standing umbrella on the beach. One gust of wind and it’s inside out. So you jump up to detach the umbrella so it doesn’t get destroyed and realise that you have to spend a whole long time detaching the two parts since the fiddly mechanism to join them has to be totally disassembled. I’m so not impressed. I have bought a beach canopy for windy days (every day is a windy day here) and my expensive Australian designed for windy beaches umbrella sits in my car waiting for a calm day!!

Commandé et reçu très rapidement, je ne peux pas encore donner un avis sur la solidité, à voir dans le temps. Le pied possède un filetage pour aider la fixation dans le sable, à tester, le pied et la tête du parasol sont solidaires, retenus par un système à crans permettant l'orientation de 0 à 180° mais empêchant donc un réglage en hauteur. Ce système est en plastique, à voir également dans le temps, une sangle avec scratch est cousu sur la toile permettant de la rouler facilement.

Oggi primo giorno di utilizzo al lago. Comoda la vite per infilare il bastone nel terreno, copertura ampia che regala una buona ombra. Utile e pratica la sacca per trasportarlo. Il bastone è un pezzo unico con una giuntura centrale dentellata che permette di ripiegarlo, spero che i dentini in plastica siano resistenti. Nel complesso un buon prodotto che mi ha soddisfatto.
