Highly recommended.
I am bit of late bloomer. Bought the PS3, just as the PS4 is coming out. Coming from playing F1 2009 on the PSP (2 version), i have to say that F1 2010 is much better.Just making my way through the first season on career mode. Hope to build up my collection of F1 games. It feels as if you are real driver making you through the career. There is consist feedback from race engineer during the practice, qualifying and race. You also get to interact with your manager, who updates you of your status as a driver withing in the team. Unlike the PSP 2009, you are not always seen as the second driver in the team. In the begin you start of as the number 2 driver, but are able to progress to number in the team. This can be achieved by out performing your team mate.In addition, you also get offers from other teams. during the the season. You do not have to wait until start of the next season. You get real life feed back from the car. You can adjust the engine, wing and tyre settings via PS3 controller. So far, i have no complaints. I have bought F1 2011, haven't played it yet. Hope to buy 2012 and 2013.07/10/2013 - Well an update from my previous review. I have just completed the first season on Career mode. I have to say that is realistic. Won the WDC in Korea and it was announced by the team. I was offered a drive from Force India. The qualifying and race expectation goes up. A superb car, won the first race of the season. You can find a guide on how to set up the car on Altered gamer.

Formula 1 2010
This is a must for all racing game fans, particularly, of course F1 fans. You take on the role of a formula 1 driver and battle through the various events starting with a lowly F1 team and working your way upwards to Ferrari and McLaren. The tracks themselves are amazingly accurate to the finest detail. Formula 1 2010 (PS3) Don't expect this to be an easy game, it is more of a simulator than an arcade racer. However, you can switch on driving aids such as auto brake, ABS, automatic gears, driving line etc. And switch them off as you improve your skills. I played this game with a standard controller, but I think it would be great to play this game with a steering wheel. You will find that in the first season you will find it difficult to get even in the top 10 finishers, but as you progress you will start to win races.Graphically this is a superb game, the rain being particularly effective with pools of water on the track and rain splashing on to your visor as well as spray from the cars in front. All the strategy of a real f1 race is there, including pitstops, tyre wear, damage etc.All the cars, tracks and drivers from the 2010 season are there. This game is a must have for all F1 fans. Excellent game. Formula 1 2010 (PS3)

F1
If you are a fan of F1 (like me) this game won't disappoint you.I almost completed 7th seasons and I can tell you that this game is long. I play on medium with 20% of the actual number of laps (about 10 on each track) and they take me about 20 minute to do + time for practice (1-5 laps) and qualifying session (1-3) so that's about 10 hours of racing per season. Most of the achievements are easy but others are very time consuming and difficult like completing a race from a cockpit view or winning Drivers' Championship on Expert difficulty. After each race there is a press conference/interview with 3 drivers from the podium and I like the questions they ask (usually about the race and team) but after 2 seasons I notice that they repeat the same questions over and over again.Overall I love this game despite how frustrating some races are...

Great fun.
I play F1 2010 with the Logitech Driving Force Pro steering wheel, and the sense of immersion is incredible!!.I can't imagine playing this game with a normal controller.I can tell you that 20 laps round Monaco left me knacked!!.The game itself really does a great job of putting you in the posistion of a F1 driver. The production, gameplay and graphics are all superb. This is a fine job Codemasters, didn't think you'd pull it off after Race Driver Grid. And for all those people who still play with a controller,Go out now and buy a wheel, because this game comes alive with one.

Better but not Perfect
I bought this game so that I had the 2009, 2010 and 2011 games. I was rather dissapointed about the end of a race, as even if you in a race of world championship no celebration is shown to you. but I did like the idea of having an office with an agent to tell you how you are getting on. something that I think made the game more realistic is that if you say bad things about your team in the interviews it lowers your chance of being offered a place in the team next year, and if you finish in the top 3 at the end of that race you are intervied in the press comference. on this games' career mode you can become 1st driver in the team, if you out perform your team mate at the end of the season! when you are racing the trick is to try the best you can to stay as close to the drivers in front of you as possible, because once you get about 2.5 seconds away from the car in front, you it becomes almost impossible to catch them let alone overtake them. the thing that made me buy it was the new weather system and the teams and drivers. The thing that makes the game hardest of all is the jolty steering.as this report has been wrten when it has, I have the 2011 F1 game IT IS BETTER!!!I can't wait to see how good the 2012 F1 game is!!!I am glad that I bought the 2010 F1 game.P.S.
