Tuffy Jr. Scoop Shovel 38 " 11 " X 14 " Green

Bought this because I wanted a smallish snow shovel for my car that would NOT break. My last (collapsible) car-shovel lasted only 2 times before the plastic blade cracked trying to shovel out the walkway in front of my dad's condo so he could get to my car without climbing over a big heap of snow. I had seen it in one of my garden catalogs illustrated with a car backing over it, to show its durability. I think it is made of ABS plastic - the stuff whitewater canoes are made of so they can bounce off boulders in whitewater river adventuring. The blade is a little small, but otherwise great shovel. I've shoveled some half-frozen snow and pried chunks of ice off the curb. The edges keep the snow from sliding off while shoveling, Relatively lightweight. Nice color. Very glad I bought it. May buy one of its big brothers for the house.

We purchased the shovel A.) because it fits nicely in the trunk and B.) for use when traveling up north to Chicago in case we get caught in the snow. It does fit nicely in the truck, seems to be of a good quality and certainly won't rust! However, we haven't had a chance to put it to the real test yet, as it didn't snow when we were up north. Hence my conditional rating. We don't foresee any issues though.

A good handy little shovel. Seems indestructible, but I will need to run it over a couple of more times to tell for sure. Fits well behind my seat in the truck.

Bought this to cut down and drill 1/2" holes to drain sand and water then use for Metal detecting on the beach, worked great. I'm able to scan the shovel before emptying.

I looked for this type of shovel so that I could alter it for beach metal detectoring.....Solid heavy non-metal shovel. All one piece just like advertised !

What can i say its a plastic shovel.I bought it for sifting sand while metal detecting. Drilled a million holes and shaped it like a spade works good.

Great item good quality. Just what I wanted.
