Great Dell PC- 16 Gb Ram SSD and 1 TB of memory! - Just Brilliant!
I am really pleased with the PC! I had bought a smaller SFF Dell computer previously which also had a SSD installed (my first time using a Solid State Drive!) - so saw this PC with a bigger and better list of specs than the smaller PC. I am hoping to use this for my Music Studio, and seems great so far! - The first thing I did was to have a look inside! - I was pleasantly surprised to see how clean it was! (Thanks Guys!) - and there is a lot more space inside this unit than the SFF I had previously purchased! - (I am considering adding a better Graphics card so this should help?) - The second thing I did was to do all the necessary Windows 10 updates and now the computer is running fine! I was pleased to receive a WiFi dongle and an adapter if I needed to run 2 monitors with this PC ( I have not used the WiFi as my PC is connected to the internet via my LAN connection)The exterior condition was exceptionally good for a re-conditioned unit - a few rub marks, but nothing serious!I received the PC very quickly and it was well packed!I would recommend this to anyone wanting a Fast PC with loads of storage!I think it would take up to 32Gb of Ram if you want to add a bit more memory ( You can do a Crucial scan to confirm this if you wish!)I am now saving up for an External SSD to add to this unit to store all my Loops and Samples to aid with my music production!I will update my review after I have connected my Audio Interface to see how this works with this PC? - I am feeling confident so hoping all goes well!It is Great Value for money! - BUT don’t have a clue what thickness and sheerness means!? - come on Amazon, either “Explain” or change this review parameter! LOL

So Fast. Amazing value.
I have only had this a few days. But its so very fast to load etc. Easy to set up .OK graphics is not for most gaming but for general use I cannot fault it. It is Very heavy which hopefully means its built to last.I bought it because I love windows 10 . I`m of a generation that it will take some time before windows 11. I`ll stick with 10 for as long as possible even after support ceases.

Great compact machine
I've been using this machine for a month now and it's working nicely. The CPU, RAM and drives are much better than I'd expect for a PC in this price range. I don't use the DVD writer, but it's nice to know that it's there.I'm using this to run 6 displays using an additional the graphics card. As this is a small form case, this also meant an upgrade to the case as well as there is little room for expansion. I might not have purchased this item if I'd realised this before, but it's looking good inside it's new case and even with this additional purchase it's still a great deal. The PC now manages to run business applications, TV and games on 6 screens all at the same time without any effort.Would have given it 5 starts if it had included the Windows installation key (remember the good old days when this used to be on a sticker on the bottom of the machine!). This is not a big deal, but it's useful to have if you intend to do a fresh install as I did.

My Nearly New Dell and Windows 11
My refurbished Dell arrived a couple of days ahead of schedule, but that was just a bonus. It arrived very well packed, with “fragile” tape wrapped round the packing box in copious quantities (not that it would have made much difference with some couriers based on previous experience.)Plenty of bubble-wrap and cardboard filling inside the packing box, and no physical signs of tears or spots of dampness was also a good sign. The PC itself was in perfect condition! The only give away were some old Windows 7 and 8 stickers on the back, and a very small scratch on the base.I took the lid off before booting up, just to make sure all the components were accounted for. No signs of dust blocking the air vents or to any of the components or motherboard come to that. The box came with a Display-Port-2-HDMI adapter, which was convenient as my monitor has VGA, DP and HDMI. The pack also includes a WIFI dongle, but I didn't bother with that, just went straight to hard-wire which is especially crucial when performing critical updates.Next thing was to boot it into Safe Mode to begin with, just to make sure the base installation, drivers, 1Tb hard drive and 250Gb SSD were functioning. From there I rebooted fully into Windows 10 within about 15 seconds. Being a solid state drive you expect fast boot-ups on new or refurbished machines. But of course this also means there's scarcely any applications installed that will eventually slow boot-ups down – more so on mechanical hard drives, and only marginally on SSDs.Did a checkpoint, and then went into Device Manager to make sure again that all the hardware was up and running. I then went into Windows Update and installed a few updates including Windows Defender and checked firewall settings.Next thing was to visit the Dell website to make sure all related drivers and apps were installed for this particular machine (I delayed installing anything to to do with Dell's Encryption/Security services for reasons I will mention later).I did come across a small hardware issue which required a quick email to supplier, Level3Computer, via Amazon, and their were response was both prompt and apologetic. And within 3 or 4 days they resolved the issue. Excellent support from them!I didn't install any of my apps because I wanted to upgrade to Windows 11 Pro using the workaround found on YouTube for PCs that don't meet the W11 upgrade requirements (processors and TMP mostly),It is also important not to have Dell's Data Encryption/security software installed because that too can upset the installation from a USB data stick with the W11 migration tool software installed. You may end up with error codes such as “0xc19001e2” which suggests Dell's encryption software is blocking the installation. The upgrade to W11 was a breeze, thanks largely to the SSD drive, and not having a ton of applications to slow things down. I know W11 isn't perfect at the moment, but just like most new operating systems it will take a few weeks/months for things to level out with the help of some Windows feature updates.I want to use this machine for video & photo editing, especially when using Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop among quite a few other resource hungry apps. Therefore I'll probably need to buy a decent passive graphics card, and more RAM further down the road (16GB currently installed). I won't be installing too much else on this machine other than that (I have a second PC that has all the usual Office 2019, gaming and entertainment stuff.)Speed and response times are very good at the moment, although I haven't been putting it under any heavy stress at present. But with more memory and a decent GC I will be more than happy with this amazingly cheap but very fast and compact machine. And Windows 11, despite some bugs and changes, seems far more stable and user-friendly compared to W10.And thanks again to Level3Computer for not only supplying a great refurbished machine, but also for their after-sales support.Recommended!
