Solidly made and very sturdy. Unfortunately I can't speak to the POTS compatibility of it, though all the electronics look proper, as I'm using it as a shell for a project. But the speaker and mic and everything else works and I would bet it will work just fine if your use case is the normal one!

This came to me without a telephone cable to connect to the landline, nor did it have the telephone to handset receiver cord either!! Not even a manual - for somebody with Alzheimers?? Sorry, I hate returning things but this doesn't work without any connectivity cables!!! LOL.

Purchased for love one in memory care community...friends and family can now call her but receive no calls in wee hours of morning.

This is perfect for my father with Alzheimer's. However, the ring is very low and he cannot hear it/distinguish it from surrounding sound when his TV is on. I've added a second phone to the line for a louder ring so I'm getting it to work better for him with this modification.

I got this red no dial phone as more of a prop versus to actually be functional. Not many people have land lines any more (including me) so I can't speak to its functionality but it is a pretty cool decor item.

Buttons arent covered up with a flat cover piece like some of these phones, just no buttons. Works great
