Sterilite4 Pack Food Storage Container, Ultra-Seal Airtight Snapware with Lids, 16 Cup

I have used these for years in several sizes. They are very useful for storing and stacking food in the refrigerator, then reheating in the microwave. Other reviews I have seen mention that the interchangeable lids don't always "grip" the sides tightly, but this has seldom been a problem for me. I will say that storing/microwaving foods containing a large amount of tomatoes will stain these containers. I've not found other foods to stain them. Other than staining, they last a long time and seem to keep food fresh. I also like the vents on top to allow steam to escape.

Love these containers! Lids securely fasten, keeping food fresh. Easily stackable. Will probably buy more.

The media could not be loaded. Does not seal liquids as advertised. I tried all four when I received them. I added about 2 inches of water to the container, then put the lid on, and snapped down the locking mechanism. I took a video of this, so all can see.As far as the containers build construction, it was very sturdy and not thin cheap plastic. Ultimately, I returned them because I readily needed something that sealed in liquids.

These are heavy plastic. Lids lock easily. Perfect size for left over burritos, hot dogs, etc due to the length. I'll order a different size with this company.

Order double the amount you need of this particular size. You'll be returning half of them. They are fantastic for storage, freezing and microwave. However, for some reason all the flaps that snap down don't work or stay in place on about 1/2 of them. I ordered 2 sets of 4. 2 were good in one box 1 was good in the 2nd box so I ordered another box. The 3rd box evened it out and I returned one whole box with defective lids. So when they arrive test each one.They're very nice and hold a lot. I make huge amounts of homemade meatballs and precooked Italian sausage then freeze them in these containers for use as needed. I use other sizes for sauce and separate as dinners for 2 (kids grown and gone) such as lasagna, stuffed peppers and cabbage, eggplant parm, pot roast, soups and stews.... it all freezes great in these containers. Pop the lids and they go straight to the microwave. They do well in the dishwasher too! I have read some complaints of either they get mold in the gaskets or you can't get them dry there (why they mold). You just pop the gasket out and dry them! Its no different than cups with gaskets lol

I tried using reusable zip bags which leaked and melted in the dishwasher. Purchased these and am super pleased with them. Extremely sturdy, will hold four pounds of meat plus marinade. I have 8 of these, and they’ve all proven sturdy and leakproof (lid has rubber seal and snaps on four sides), and dishwasher safe. Worth the price if you want to get away from single use plastics and do your part to save the environment!

In the past I had some great containers that latched and those needed to be replaced. Unfortunately, the latches on these can be problematic. They don't work at times and are inconsistent. When they latch, they are satisfactory for my needs.
