Rubie's Batman Dark Knight Rises Child's Deluxe Catwoman Costume

My daughter is determined to be Catwoman for Halloween this year. Of course Catwoman isn't popular enough on the big screen this year for there to be a child's costume sold in any of the box stores or the Halloween stores, so I reluctantly purchased this costume prepared for disappointment upon arrival. Boy was I surprised! This costume is absolutely perfect! My daughter is about 50+ inches tall and wears a size 7 slim pant and and 8 shirt and the medium fits great. There is enough room to add some layers underneath when she goes to trick or treat, but also doesn't look really lose and baggy if she's just wearing her regular clothes under the costume. The ears were luckily not a problem for us and look like they should. The gloves are a bit lose but not so much so that it will cause a huge issue. The belt on her tiny waist is really loose but that can be easily fixed with some safety pins. This is pretty much your typical Halloween costume. No it's not meant for daily use and if your child is roughhousing around in it yes it will easily rip. It is the same quality as any other costume you would buy at Walmart or Target. I'm not sure what some of the other reviewers were expecting, but this costume is exactly what I would expect from a Halloween costume.

Really cute. Just fits. Mask is small

This is should a cute costume. My daughter loves cats and wanted to be cat woman this year. This costume was the perfect answer. I like how everything comes with it so I don’t have to buy accessories as well. The only thing I don’t like was the cat ears. They are very flimsy and looks to easily break. Just to be on the safe side I purchased some regular cat eats to use instead of the one with the costume.

This costume is perfect for my daughter who is a petit 6 year old who wears a size 5. She has not wanted to take it off and it fits like a glove. Over time, I'm sure the costume will start to fall apart, but who can fault a perfect cat-girl outfit with a super cool utility belt that makes her look (and act) like a superhero? The velcro waistband will need to be adjusted to fit her a bit tighter, and she has put hair bands on the glove sleeves to keep them up. The mask is also a flexible rubber like mask that fits her eye width perfectly. The ears fall off and are not working but we have other clip-on ears that will work well. I'm working on the shoes, which must be perfectly black and not sure if combat style boots or ballet flats with black socks will be the best.

I purchased the medium size for my tall and slender 8 year old (I want to say about 53" tall, but will double check it and change if it's very different). The jumpsuit part fit her very well. Maybe even on the snug side although she didn't complain about it at all. Cons: As many others have said, the ears are junk.. She didn't like the way they looked or fit. And even if she did, they broke within the first 5 minutes of our opening the package.. The belt was HUGE!! No way it would've stayed around her waist with the velcro provided. This was an easy fix though. We purchased an extra strip of velco and sewed our own longer strip to the belt. That gave it a lot more versatility. The gloves wouldn't stay up and she felt that the hand part was a little tight but not enough to not wear them. Our quick fix for the gloves falling down was to put some black hair bands at the top of the glove. It worked. Just make sure they're not too tight for circulation! The mask looks really cool although we had a bit of a rough time finding the best placement and ended up cutting the eye holes bigger for her comfort. They're a durable material but it was easy to cut with crafting scissors. PROS: I like that the boot portion is actually attached to the leg and the foot straps helped keep the legs down. We did get it messy the first time she wore it. I was afraid to wash it but gave it a go. gentle cycle and hang dry worked great with no shrinkage or other fabric issues. Be warned though. I did have some dye drip from the costume while it was hanging. So definitely was with like colors and maybe put an old towel under the costume while it's drying. Overall this was a really fun costume and she loved wearing it. Just be ready to spend a few more dollars on accessories (ears, velcro) and time getting it all together.

This costume is a mix of a little bit of good and and a lot of bad. The actual bodysuit and gloves fit well and, surprisingly, appear to be constructed strong enough to survive one night of trick or treating. The belt is designed to fit exactly one size of child or even a small adult. There is no way to adjust the belt without removing the velcro tabs and sewing them to fit your child (and removing the excess material). The mask is made from preformed plastic by someone who has no idea what an actual human head looks like. Our mask was bent and mishapen during shipping and we had fix it using a ball, some cotton to shape the nose, and tape. Not sure if that solution will work or we will buy another one... By far the worst part of the outfit is the iconic set of ears. Again, you have a poorly constructed plastic headpiece that will not stay together unless you permanetly afix it with glue. As with the mask, it was bent in shipping and will require adjusting over time. Bottom line - there is NO WAY this costume works out of the box. Expect to make some adjustments and even buy better accessories if you want to see Catwoman this Halloween.

Does the job , material is ok, nothing great. Good for few wears only

Fits a little small compared to the sizing chart, but overall I am very happy with this product. Did not realize that gloves were included, so this was a happy surprise. It is important to note that the "ears" are not the greatest quality, and came apart quite quickly. This was the only fault I have.
