Welch AllynWEL23810 23810 Macro View Otoscope

Works great for looking into ears. I bought this for family use to keep track of ear infections and monitor ear wax. It's nice to not have to run to the Dr just to check on things. This scope has an adjustable focus (the green line in the pic), so I wear glasses, but I can adjust it to see clearly

I bought this otoscope head about 6 years ago and still working in perfect condition.

I love this otoscope! As an audiologist I have used such a wide variety of Welch Allen otoscopes and this one has always been my favorite! I look in ears everyday so it is important that I can obtain a good view of the TM when visible!

The precision and view was awesome. Great tool for the job.

It is perfect

i am astonished to find myself having fun looking in ears, but the view with this tool is so great that it really is fun. The larger field of vision means you're not having to angle around in the ear canal, so the exam is faster and easier for patients. This is a winner.

Could not find a compatible handle

Much greater magnification than my old otoscope head - and with adjustment for my aging vision - I love this. BUT the standard disposable specula do not fit on it - I have to use the special specula that came with the head and wash them between uses - a bit of a pain. They probably sell disposable specula for this head - just haven't gotten around to looking for them.
