Politics on Frost's world get complicated.
Frost's world continues to spin along. Volume 4 was a bit different in tone from the previous volumes, in that instead of the story being almost exclusively about Frost, this book expands the viewpoint a lot to surrounding characters and plotlines. In short: Books 1-3 were focused mostly on Frost and his (crazy over-the-top) relationships, with a bit of politics and world-building. Book 4 is mostly about the politics happening around Frost, with a bit of his relationships thrown in for fun. Personally, I'm glad to see this, as it opens up the world to a much broader set of possible storylines and future books. Our favorite foul-mouthed Slade is back, with Hestia of course, and we learn one important thing: do NOT mess with Hestia. Just... don't. You've been warned. And so has everybody else now, much to their dismay.A major plot line in book 4 is Brynn's interaction with a new enemy of Frost's... and why. The reader is *almost* convinced that... nope, won't spoil it. She get spanked for her actions in the end, so all's well.Oh, anybody who read my review of Book 3 couldn't help but notice my comments about Frost's mother-in-law, Cassie. As a bit of fun, I can't resist including one of my favorite LOL passages from the book:---- “Fine,” Lysandra said. “But he’s mine.” “I know,” Cassia sighed as she buried her face in Frost’s neck. "He’s yours. Who would want to take such an awful husband anyway?” “An awful mother,” Lysandra grumbled.----The end of Book 4 ties up a lot of the threads from Books 1-3 quite nicely. If the series ended here (goodness, i certainly hope not!), it would NOT be on cliffhanger, which is a nice change from many authors. At the same time, there are so many obvious possible directions to go now... and certainly even more non-obvious ones, depending on the author's whims. Here's hoping for the next book soon. I want to see Lysandra and Frost's child born... and maybe a few others. (with Brynn? Desi? Renna? Don't think the mechanics would work for Lishri, but it's a world with magic so who knows, right?)Till the next book... you'll enjoy this one.

Great!
A great story overall, it really exceeded my expectations and those were decently high to begin with. The plot itself was really what made me enjoy this book so much. The foreshadowing was good enough for you to recognize that it was there without hitting you over the head with it, and it wasn't so subtle that you were confused by it. There was some good character growth and change in this one too, so it didn't feel like a bunch of cardboard cutouts on a stage. Overall this might be the best in the series. It was worth the wait, and this is coming from someone who really hateswaiting. Excited for the next one already, and looking forward to how the author resolves all the future conflicts this book sets up.Edit: (spoilers)One issue I had was that at the end if the story he wasn't as upset as I thought he would be by being manipulated by Shalia and all the others. He seemed much too blasé about her using him and the people he cared about without his knowledge.Edit 2: A second rather large plot hole is that during the scene where Brynne executes Herald Law, she says the king gave her the authority to do so because he was going to imperil the marriage of Fiora to the king of Riliandria. The only issue is that the king had already okayed the plan for Law to force Frost to kill the king of Riliandria. Which on its face is imperiling the marriage because you can't marry a dead guy. Why would the king care about imperlling the marriage now even he obviously didn't care before? A pretty big issue because it is what makes it possible for Brynne to kill Law in the first place.

Fantabulous
Great light hearted LitRPG novel that continues the story of Sebastian Frost. Science & reality are interfaced, with a design closer to Skyrim, by humans. The author seems to be developing the world by balancing karma, actions, skills, et cetera. For instance, this is the first novel where the author gives women the ability to be super fertile in response to spell for men. Yet it may be better to have a couple important people die, to make room for LIs and children, think do I.It is a great story with polyamory but ever single ’wife’ of Mr. Frost’s should be pregnant by this, the fourth book, think do I. The storyonly covers want Frost wants but if he really loves them, then why does he ignore what they want? It’s not like Majik or Hestia would let Brynn, or the other wives, die during childbirth due to malnutrition. He would really still be letting his fear keep him from helping them to choose to be happy? For sharing Gravity, grateful am I. May the Goddess be allowed to alighten a path towards love, joy, & happiness along the self’determined life’cycle chosen by the Higher’Self of yours, pray do I.

Things intensify
The grammar was better than the previous book. It wasn't perfect but improved. Smut... next level. The end... it kept feeling like the end, then you'd turn the page, more, rinse, repeat. A little annoying that was, no lie. I would've called the last bit an epilogue.I mean I'm surprised Frost didn't have more insight as to what others close to him were doing. How he can be so smart and dumb at the same time... it feels a little like plot dumb, even the character is only dumb for plot purposes. Still, I guess it's good for a character to be fallible.Chekov's gun moment did not disappoint. Overall happy, can't wait for the next installment.

Seriously hooked the racy stuff is super racy if you'relooking for that this has it. The story's world and plots are excellent but most of all i love the characters around the main character so much. I really hope the authors will pick up the pen and keep going cause i'll be there day 1 for the book and audio book for that one

Really really good
I read this book in a day, couldn't out it down. Really enjoyed all four books in the series. Like the characters and it's nice not to have a good hero, if you know what I mean. Looking forward to the next book.

More fun with Frost
I really do like this series. This one is Frost vs the Herald of Zirialia as well as his usual escapades with the elves and others. Best part - any conversation between Lysandra and Renna.

This book made me really happy. For the 1 day it lasted. It has good story progress and lots of sex as we all want. It takes time to write a good book but i wish it was faster :3
