Alienware 17-Inch Vindicator Neoprene Sleeve (AWVNS17) [Discontinued by Manufacturer]

I bought this for my Alienware AW17R3 so it would have some extra protection from getting banged up while traveling. I knew I was taking a bit of a gamble, since the item description says it's not compatible, but I had read reviews, outside Amazon as well, saying it would fit. The one I bought on here was lightly used and a great deal, so I thought why not and the case fits my R3 like a glove. For some it may be too snug for their liking, mostly the top two corners, but so long as you're not bashing and crashing it around aimlessly, I would say it shouldn't be an issue. The outer pocket fits the power supply and cords just fine and probably a mouse too. Room on the inside for a mouse pad with the AW17R3. Overall I am extremely happy with this case and having the extra protection.

I bought my Alienware Model M17xR4 laptop early 2013. The Vindicator case length is OK but height is off by 1"inch - thus could not close the zipper.Probably it fits the newer Alienware if they are smaller than my laptop. Chec your laptop, if dimensional data is equal or less than 17 x 11.8 x 2 inches, might fit OK.Make sure you check the spec against your computer before you place your order!

Surprisingly well made, especially for the price. I have an Alienware 17 r3 and it fits perfectly, and zipping up is not difficult, as some others have said.There is not much to this sleeve--yes you can carry it like a breiecase but I would go with one of the beefier neoprene options if you don't have a backpack rady to go with it, as I do.

A bit snug on my 17.3 Alienware. I brought it as a sleeve to go inside of the backpack.Since the backpack is on back order, it is my primary cover for my laptop.The handles are comfortable and easy to grip. Should have a shoulder strap also because the laptop is heavy and it would assist in carrying it. The material feels nice to touch.

Pros:Fits my Alienware 17 R3 well.Good protection.Cons:The external material is too soft, so it's susceptible to scratches.The pouch is too small for charger (although it is not designed for such usage).

Very high quality sleeve, but it is built for a very thin laptop. Maybe 3/4 inch and not at all over a 17 inch screen. My alienware laptop is 17.3 which was much to large. Mine is also much thicker than an average laptop. Be care buying this sleeve.
