Extra light ring is really nice.
I can see why people would buy these over standard fans, the extra light on the back of the fan would be interesting for builds with gaps in the case to see the light through, aswell as having a perfect interior. Cant really judge the noise level as my case makes them quite loud, but they are certainly quieter than the previous fans I had in the same spot.

Beautiful, extremely low noise fans
Coming from a decently loud older pc when I turned it on I had to double check if the fans were on - that’s house quiet they are. Added bonus is that they look cool I also appreciate the rubber pads on the screw holes to further reduce noise levels. Also another quick tip is to be ready to screw with all you have as it is a little hard to get screws fully in

Latest lot has faulty LED's
Have bought many of these fans over the years and this past lot have an ever increasing number of faulty LED's. It started with one a week after I installed them and is now at two with another one occasionally flickering. This is not good and maybe hints at QA issues at Corsair! So if you buy these you've been warned. Mine are currently stuck on red to hide the faulty LED's. This is the first set of faulty fans i've had but with the fiasco that was the Capellix LCD debacle this is showing quality control at corsair is not what it once was.

Amazing product
Corsair’s best fans to date. Such easy to use software too.

Poor Performance and Short Lifespan
Bought 3 of these QL120 Fans less than 6 months ago. One of the LEDs on one of the fans has already died. These fans have 34 Bright LEDs each on them and therefore draw a lot of current. After some digging on the internet, apparently it's a very common issue and due to design nature of having bright LEDs running them on maximum brightness on WHITE shortens the lifespan of the LEDs astronomically to the point of them failing. I received a replacement free of charge from Amazon, however the replacement unit was DOA (Dead on Arrival) and it was so broken in fact that when I plugged it into my Corsair Commander Core it shorted it and itself out and bricked my fan controller as well. My Experiences with Corsair Support have been abysmal. Extremely long response times and support agents that cannot read your support tickets nor do they answer your questions at all. The message to take from all this, is that Corsair have awful QA and testing. Their products have clear design flaws, and when it comes to RMAs and concerns they immediately go quiet. Either I am extremely unlucky or their support and products are plain awful. These fans are highly advertised amongst PC Tech YouTubers and Influencers, and the fact that their failure rate is so high is astounding. Do not take their advice at face value, most are sponsored or have no clue what they are talking about. At the time of writing, these fans cost £32.60 which is ridiculously high for a bad product. I do not recommend these fans, they mostly depend on the already buggy and broken software called "iCUE" EDIT: It has come to my attention that my replacement unit from Amazon was "Used and Broken" and not NEW. So ultimately it is Amazon's fault for sending me a used unit and not NEW like they promise. This new info still does not mask the horrible QA corsair have.

The RGB fan spins but doesn’t light up
I have connected it to the rgb header and even tried using a Corsair commander

Dont buy fans alone
You need about £200 worth of corsair IQUE equipment to run them. Stupid for something thats already got a premium price.
