Can this be used for craft projects intended for skin contact?

I would say no. Even though you put it on then solder and then clean it off, I wouldn't trust it to be in contact with anyone's skin. I use nitrile gloves when I use it because it's so caustic in the first place. But if you were able to clean it extremely well when you have it out together you might be ok. I just don't think I would. My personal opinion.

Does it contain lead?

Of a generation that wasn’t lead aware, but when it comes to lead, it is never in the flux, it’s only in the solder itself. Acid flux is for metal, rosin is for electrical

Can this be used to make silver jewelry?

Yes it can if you are using low temperature solder.
