I only had to use this temporarily for an old laptop which is why I didn’t return it, but I didn’t realise a few things until after purchasing this product. 1. A vga cable should be as short as possible to limit the amount of interference as this results in poor picture quality. 2. A vga wire needs to be thicker to shield from interference from charging cables too.This cable is very long and quite thin and flexible, because of this when connecting my laptop to my monitor, the cable was getting some interference which caused shadows behind the letters on the screen which was hard on the eyes to see. It did help to try adjust the charging cable to be perpendicular to the vga cable but it still didn’t fully get rid of the shadows.In summary, this is an okay short term solution but if you need something to use daily invest in a a cable that has a thicker coating and is shorter to minimise interference.

Quick fix for working from home. My Surface Pro screen was too small. I had the adapter but left the vga cable in work, so £4 was about all I wanted to pay. Now I am working off a 40 inch TV and wireless keyboard and mouse.

Good cable. Gave me the extra length I needed. Only fault is it changed the screen/font size. Easily solved though

Good value for money. However, not good for use on a modern monitor but I would assume they are good for older monitors, I ended up returning as it was too blurry.

Just right

VGA is an analogue protocol and therefore the quality of the shielding is important, which is why most VGA cables are a bit stiff and have moulded chokes on the cable at each end. This one is very soft and bendy, and the picture quality is very poor. This could perhaps be an advantage for retro gaming, since this does soften the display somewhat on modern monitors.
