Finally, a no-bounce waist pack!
I have this as well as the Nathan Trek Waist Pack, and both are excellent for running or walking. The packs do not bounce around if worn tightly enough. The only differences are the size of the pockets and the angle of the holster. The Triangle has a much smaller pocket - my iPhone 4 barely fits. I can carry that, a key fob, and a tube of chapstick, at which point the pocket is jam-packed. The Trek has a huge pocket in comparison, with room for sunscreen, mace, snacks, etc., as well as a rain guard covering the zipper. As for the holsters, the Triangle is more vertical and a little harder to use one-handed. I like the angle on the Trek better. The strap on these packs is designed really well. The excess can be rolled up and velcroed so it's never hanging down. The bottle is standard and stays in with or without the bungee cord. These packs are a great alternative to camelbaks. Absolutely love them!

Belt Does Not Fit - Unfortunate
Because the dimensions of the “belt” are not in English I was unaware of the circumference of the belt. They must only sell to people with a 34 inch waist or smaller. Unfortunately FAT PEOPLE DO WORK OUT AND NEED HYDRATION probably even more so than skinny/smaller waisted people. It is unfortunate that when selling products to primarily English speaking customers, you cannot receive information in English. Bad business practices and unfortunately an anti-customer-centric company.

The perfect running gadget!
I LOVE this belt. Before buying this one I tried many different kinds of water bottles. I kept bumping my elbows on the versions with 2 bottles and the hand-held ones drove me CRAZY bc I was out of water fast. This is the PERFECT size, fits perfectly on my lower back yet I can slide it around when I need to. There was no "getting used to" running with this on my back. It was comfortable from day one. During the race I never stopped running- I just opened the bottle, dumped water in from the stations and drank when I wanted to. It was the best decision to carry my own water and drink when I wanted to rather than forcing myself to guzzle at the stations. I keep my Chomps inside the zipper part and it was still enough space to keep my keys if I needed to. This was my favorite purchase for my half marathon training. Got my hubby one and he loves his too.

Surprisingly bad design from Nathan Sports - a company well known among the running community
I got the Nathan Triangle Hydration Waist Pack based on the reputation from Nathan among the running community, and because I was looking for a hydration pack that would allow me to carry a decent quantity of water on longer runs while not going for a full vest & breaking the bank.I was excited to test the pack by taking it on a short run first, and picked an easy and scenic 7.2mi along the Nor Cal coast. Here is my review after this first run:The good:- The price point for getting a set waistband + bottle is good- The pack is light- The belt of this waist pack has some clever adjustment options, which allow for making it wider or tightening it up, and it holds well- The bottle did not leak- The bottle high flow valve works decently well...but that's where the good ends! The bad:- The pack is rather bouncy I had to stop to try tightening it twice in the first 1 mile. Tightening the waist belt can only go so far before it becomes really uncomfortable and obstructive (just to note - I have several completed full marathons on my record, and am accustomed to the pains and aches that accompany distance running)The bouncing made me adjust my stride (I was thinking that this may not necessarily be a completely bad thing), but the bottle still kept hitting two main points in my lower back area - slightly left of my tailbone in a down bounce, and slightly left of my right kidney at the top of an up-bounce... Now, one can say that this is to be expected, however the design of the carrier should distribute the force of the impact, while I am talking about a very specific localized points where the round edges of the bottle keep hitting over and over again impacting the lumbar nerve, and the tender area around the kidney.I tried rotating slightly to the left, then slightly to the right, but both positions felt worse, so i left it centered. Mid run I even started thinking of how else can I carry the pack for the rest of the distance so I can remediate the situation (i.e. possibly put it across one shoulder, etc.). However, I decided to leave the pack as is and "muscle through it" - after all it was for a short distance only.- Phone/Csrgo pocketThere is no way to fit any contemporary phone in this pocket ( you may be able to carry a Motorolla Razr, or an old Nokia in there...)you can probably fit in several gells, and may be 2 Luna bars in it, but that's about it.- Rubbing & causing chafingIn "The Good" section above I have mentioned the good waist adjustment options, however, the material of the belt is relatively thin (i assume it was done to save weight), so if it was not for the "hooking/ stops" it would be impossible to keep it tight only by putting it through the buckles. This waist pack MUST be carried over the clothes (a tucked in t-shirt, tri-suit, jersey, etc.) as the edges of the belt are rather harsh and cause significant chaffing. In my case, the rubbing was due to the bouncing of the bottle, and I had to tuck my t-shirt on the front to remediate the buckle, as well as do it few times on the right side, as the belt was rubbing my right upper thigh. In the end I gave up, and just went with it, and ended with a 1/2" x 2" chafing on my upper right thigh.- ConclusionConsidering that this all happened on a short run, I don't think I will be bringing my Nathan Triangle Hydration Waist Pack on my longer ones. This pack may be good for hiking where the motion is slower, and it is not expect to have as much bouncing, but I would not recommend it for running.I am looking to try the bottle on my bike and see if I can use it there - hopefully I would not need to consider this purchase a complete write-off.

Great quality and functionality
This is a high-quality product with well-planned features. The padding makes this a comfortable accessory. The angle of the water bottle is convenient, as is the pocket on the back which is perfect for holding my iPod Nano and a few doggie clean-up bags. The length of the belt is not easily adjustable on the go, but after my first two runs with the bottle I think I'm narrowing in on the ideal length. Other reviewers commented that this bottle bounced too much during the run, but I find the bouncing to be minimal and I don't even notice it as I get into the groove of my run.I'm happily sticking with this product for hydration on the go.

Exactly what I was looking for.
I purchased something like this some years ago and have had trouble finding another one. I finally found this one and it is exactly what I was looking for. Just enough water for a modest hike for me and my Jack Russell. The belt is nice because I can clip on a dog bowl and a small set of binoculars. It seemed a little pricey for what it is, but then again, how often do you get exactly what you're looking for?

Good quality, perfect size
This is my favorite pack for hiking, and even just for walks to the store. It’s comfortable, and holds enough water to keep me happy. The little pocket is big enough for the newer iPhone (which is a little larger), plus keys and wallet. I love it!

A good, secure belt, well worth the price
The belt holds the bottel very secure, with no movement, which is excellent. The catch holding the bottle is easily removed but has be be held to put the bottle in, otherwise, it can get hidden by the bottle once in place. This is easliy overcome. The bottle is great for most runs, but when you do come to those very long runs where there is no support, the bottle could do with being a bit bigger. All in all a great hyrdation belt and well worth the price.
