This desk.. was a HUGE pain in the A** to put together. I know you're not supposed to use a drill. But we did. Lol we know our way around power tools so we didn't strip, over tork, or anything so it was fine.It took us 4hrs to put together. Between two needy kids they probably made it take longer haha. But overall.. this desk is worth every minute. It's STURDY!!! Has an awesome amount of space, and just works amazing for my work space and what will soon be the home of my new pacman frog. If you have two monitors like I do.. and like them higher up then base height you're gonna have to set it up like I did in the pic. fMy tower also BARELY fits in it's spot. So if you GAME alot it's probably not the best place for your tower as mine removes heat out of the top and pulls air in from the front. I don't game much so it's not worry. But to avoid overheating your tower just remove the little shelf above the tower stand. It should provide proper air flow. When I first went to buy it I thought it was pricy. I mean.. $260 something was ALOT. but it was worth it! For some reason we expected like a Walmart desk assembly. F****** NO. This was a full blown shipped in two boxes IKEA. The instruction booklet was confusing. The pictures had SOO much going on that made it really confusing. But we did it. I love it. Work so gonna love that I have more space and will be able to preform better. And my pacman frog Gamakichi will enjoy it also. Im overall very satisfied with the desk.If you took the time to read this.. I hoped it helped. Just buy the desk already. It's amazing.

This desk is definitely a challenge to put together for one person, however, if you get a second person to help you, it’s much easier. Assembly took between 1-2 hours. Desk is fairly large so you need a nice, open space to put it together. Obviously you will want to put it together wherever you are placing the desk. Very sturdy desk and it’s big but not too big. I added a rolling cart and stuck it underneath the desk, as well as a rolling file cabinet and I’m happy with the results. The only complaint I had was that the color was very different from the photos, it’s nowhere near as deep, rich, and vibrant in person as it is in the photos which was a bit disappointing. It’s definitely more of a muted, blander color which almost made me return it because it didn’t match what I was trying to match it to, however, once it was assembled, I liked it enough to keep it . Overall, I’m happy with this purchase and would recommend it, just don’t expect the rich, bright, vibrant color in the photos, prepare for a darker, duller, more muted wood coloring. Great, sturdy desk.

Overall, the size of the desk is exactly what I wanted along with the placement of the hutch. Picture included is of the desk right after my boyfriend and I finished building it. It took us a little over an hour. I have and iMac, laptop. printer and some other "desk items" and I feel like I still have lots of space to work with.Desk came in two separate packages. One is much heavier than the other, where my delivery guy didn't even bring to my door but left at my building entrance instead. No cracks or issues with the pieces, everything was included.Before purchasing I looked at other reviews and many mentioned about paying attention to the instructions other wise you would have to disassemble and re-do so, that's exactly what we did. Don't rush the process, read the instructions, view the images and then you'll be fine. Having a second hand is very helpful, if doing this on your own, it might take a while.I would just say that the color of the wood in the picture vs what I actually received was deceiving. Mine is darker than I was expecting. Decided not to take a star off for that because it didn't clash with anything else I had in this room, so it worked out.

This desk is very nice and sturdy. There is more then enough leg room no matter which side I wanted to choose. Please be aware that some computer monitors will be too tall to clear underneath the ledge but that really isn't that much of a big deal since the other length has so much room. Making the desk was not the easiest thing to do solo and you really have to be careful to follow the directions when getting to the storage hutch. Otherwise, I love how I didn't have any trouble with any of the wood pieces or metal frames. It came shipped to me in great condition. Be also aware that the entire set comes in 2 boxes and they ARE heavy (get a friend to help).

Overall it is a nice desk but man did I have some issues.First time around my 2nd box arrived at my front door like this and I did not want to be in the middle of putting this desk together, and in the end im missing a piece and id have to wait a few more days to get the replacement part, the seller will first seemed like that didn't want to get me a replacement package but they did and that arrived still unopened.Now, I dont know who created these instructions I have never had so many issues trying to put something together! It literally took me 2 days to finish putting this together.Nonetheless I love how big this desk is, and im very happy with my purchase! Hope this helps anyone thinking about buying this desk too!

I am writing this review while sitting at this desk. I've had it for about a year and its a nice desk. The width is enough for a large laptop and keyboard and I keep a second monitor, fan, lava lamp, papers, pictures, pens, folders and a bunch of other stuff on it and I'm never crowded for space. I would say this is a nice desk for a home office setup. It is sturdy and weighs probably 50 or 100 pounds. It took me a few hours to assemble it and I haven't had any issues since then. I like it.
