LIFESAVER for times when you can't take a pack and play.
Really love this tent! The only thing that kept it from being a 5 star is it has started to fray a little and I'm concerned with how fast that happened. However, even if it completely came apart I would wholeheartedly buy it again for how much hassle it saved us. We were in a unique situation of moving with the military, overseas, with a two year old. Our pack and play got packed with the rest of our stuff because obviously it wasn't reasonable for it to fly with us, but that meant until we got settled our little one would either have to use a crib at the hotel or hope that our friends had one we could borrow. We planned trips all over the United States to see friends and family before our move and the majority of them wouldn't have a pack and play available and my little guy rolls around like a crazy person....This was absolutely the most fantastic thing. He slept in it for naps and at night like a champ. My husband had the excellent idea to even blow up the mattress a little before sealing it to give him some extra cushion. It was so easy to throw on top of our clothes in a suitcase and take wherever we went. It set up in seconds and after a few times of practice was put away in the same amount of time. So nice! My son even slept in it on the floor of the airport while we waited overnight for our connection. So thankful we had it and look forward to using it with our next baby! Honestly probably won't even take our pack and play with us when we travel anymore as this is the MUCH better option.

good option to protect baby from elements and sun, but hasn't lasted very long without starting to wear&rip.
Great option to protect newborn/infant from sun and wind. I bought this to take baby to an outdoor event where there wasn't going to be any shade. I felt comfortable knowing baby was going to be protected from sun with uv rated tent. It's super easy to set up and take down. others have commented on difficulty folding it up, but if you look at the picture instructions that come with it (I think these instructions may be a new addition to the packaging), I don't see how it could be difficult. it's also a nice size (not too big, like some other tent options).negatives:-the pad that goes inside doesn't seem to fit as well. it's slightly longer than the tent, so the ends end up curled slightly. it also seems a bit wide so the valve is sticking out the side. rather than tucked in the tent, which can get in the way a bit when zipping up the door. Not a huge issue, but could be better.-it would be nice if the bag was just a tad larger. even when properly folding both the tent and pad, it's a tight fit and is stressing the zipper. you really have to compress the pad (we sit on it) to get the air out, and even then it's really tight to fit in the bag.-it would be nice if there were some nylon loops inside to hang toys. I use the loops for tying up the door to hang light toys, but think it would be much better if these also existed inside the tent along the middle. (not a deal breaker, but would be nice)-would be nice if the edges around where the frame is we're made if a little thicker material than the rest of the tent as these get stressed and are rubbing in the ground, even with careful use on top of a blanket, the fabric is ripping along the edge. I loved this tent otherwise, but with the higher price tag, it should last much longer without showing wear and ripping.

The tent is great quality, lightweight
The tent is great quality, lightweight, and takes just seconds to set up. I got it to test as a potential travel bed for our twin babies. The plan is to get another one before traveling if it works out, but right now they are still alternating taking test naps in it. So far, I love the ease of use and the calming blue color inside. The babies have mostly napped decently in it, although one gets excited and likes to kick the sides. The tent has held up well to several days of this beating. The couple concerns I've noticed are that the mattress itself doesn't breathe well, since it's a vinyl type surface and there's not really a safe way I can see to put a sheet on it. On the flip side, that does make it easy to wipe clean. It should be comfortable enough as long as it's not used in very warm temperatures. I've also noticed that even with the mesh panels all exposed, the tent gets a bit stuffy inside, just like a grownup tent does. I notice this because when I unzip the window to take out the baby, the air inside is warm and a little stuffy, and I also tried zipping myself inside the tent for a few minutes to test it personally. (I can fit inside curled up.) It's probably fine, but it's made me a little nervous about leaving a baby overnight to sleep in it. I do think that if you have a park or beach, this is a great little place for the baby to nap and relax while keeping bugs out.

This is really an amazing item. We ultimately returned it because the intended use was for a toddler 15 months old, as a compact travel bed. We found that the tent was just a little too small for her – she could sit up in it, but her head was just touching the ceiling. She rolls a lot when sleeping, so this tent would just barely fit her.Overall, this is a terrific item, just not suited for our needs. In particular, the price and compact folded size are amazing. We will ultimately try something larger (e.g. Guava's travel system), but this little blue tent came really close to working - probably better for a younger infant. Especially for traveling, it looks so convenient to throw into a suitcase.

Perfect for parents on the go
My wife says she wishes she would have had this tent when our oldest kids were young! This would have been so much easier taking to the beach or park than the big, bulky pack-n-play. If you need to be out and about, in our case because we have both older kids and younger kids so we are constantly dragging our young ones to sporting events/concerts to watch the older ones participate, play, etc., this is a great way to keep your baby protected from sun/weather/noise while you are outside. Since I'm the one that has to carry it when we go places, I really like that it’s light-weight and folds up to a compact size. And we love that it’s easy to set up and take down. I also love the self-inflating pad insert which is nice and comfy for the baby and easy to clean. The fact that it has mesh windows that zip and unzip is nice to allow airflow and let you look inside, but keeps the bugs out. Great quality product that works great for what we need it for.
