For the money, this is an excellent caliper. Either lock the arm when storing or remove the battery as any movement of the arm turns on the battery.

If used for tight tolerance not repeatable otherwise good to use.

Slider is smooth and accurate. This is especially useful when measuring items which have edge or corner radii on them and is much cheaper than offset-jaw calipers.

Don't forget to zero on a machine block before every use

I did have to install a new battery. But after that, it works great. Also, their customer support is also great.

Accruacy is right where it should be. Good value. Good product.
