This bracket did the job. It had to be retrofitted to accommodate a Lorex Wireless Camera using same brand solar panel. Holes had to be drilled on the surface to accommodate the distance between holes. In this sense, It wouldn’t have made a difference if the surface was not pre-slotted. Again, it was retrofitted. I also had to add a wooden block added behind it to allow the screws (included with my cameras). However, I’d imagine if you had the right metal screws with a nut, you wouldn’t need a backing. Overall, I’m just happy that I got to mount my camera on a 2.5’ OD pole. And that it looks nice. Will include picture soon.

Worked perfectly, only problem is it will rust. Major fail in my book. Why not make it stainless steel since this is used outdoors??

I purchased the bracket and will mount it on the pole of a bird feeder (no longer in use). The pole has a 3” diameter so I had to source hose clamps that will allow me to mount this. When shopping recognize that the supplied clamps may/may not work for your application.

Jerry rigging needed to get this bracket to work . . . much other materials will be needed to mount anything using this device!
