One of the arms broke off within minutes of opening it. My husband and I repeatedly put it back on so our son could play with it.

Guess he got Ken's old pants when he stayed at the Overlook with Barbie
The shoes are cheap plastic. His pants aren't attractive either; even the real Jack Torrence could afford better pants than these. I left two stars for the jacket and axe. The jacket is a nice corduroy. His beard has no texture, that would be ok but he seems to be a little bland in the facial features. I had to get him because I love the movie and got the twins. But he's my least favorite living dead doll. He just seems rushed and could use a little more.

My two cents
First of all the packaging was excellent and the box is flawless. Next is the doll itself. I think they had a good concept for this, but just fell a little short. The outfit and axe are perfect, but just doesn't do Jack much justice in the expression. I get that they did their best for what they had permission to do considering Jack Nicholson would not consent for his likeness. Overall, it's a good addition to your LDD collection.Final thoughts: Price is great for now and they got it as close as possible. I say grab one!
