Pretty good reincarnation novel. Reasonably likable characters. Only one excessively contrived plot section, and it’s obviously because the author couldn’t figure out how to reset the progression otherwise.The translation starts out really crappily Engrish and produces such lovely sentences as “Because the transform was too haste like lightning. How could Rocky, who was stamped out progressively by the spirit manipulator of Timber Deity Empire before executed the latter at a time?”But it resumes the high quality from the previous books less than halfway through.

Good series. Horrible translations, this could be part of the reason why these translations are on kindle unlimited compared to similar stories with better translations that aren’t on kindle. For a example instead of editing the translation so it reads better you have stuff that would normally be translated and edited to say “to their shock” left as “to their thunderbolt”. Don’t pay for this.

Really enjoy this series. Always a few laughs, entertaining storyline, this translation was much better than some of the others in the series, looking forward to the next one.

Rocky proves himself as a strategic genius and ends up commanding forces in the war. These books are almost always fun. Rocky as MC plays an interesting game acting like a greedy fool as he gathers power in hidden ways.
