Healthy Leaves but no flowers

Delightful plant. Bought for a birthday gift. Lovely colours. Good price too

I'm generally fairly happy with my plant, although it hasn't turned out to be what I had bought it for. It was a good size and arrived in good condition in October 2021, and it looks good on the window sill with all my succulents and cacti. However, I'm rather disappointed that it has never changed colour, so it does not resemble any of the plants in the images - and those images were really why I chose it. I had been looking forward to seeing it change colour, but I've given up hoping for that now. Somebody suggested trimming it back to encourage branching, so I might do that, and see if it changes the overall look of the plant.
