What is maximum stretching capacity in inches? Can it stretch a boot top out to 19 inches?

While I haven’t actually measured I know that I cannot wear boots that have a 17” boot shaft. I have to stretch even wide calf boots. I would assume I’ve stretched them to 19”.

Will this stretch tall Frye boots with full zipper on the side and leather lining inside without ripping the zipper off?

Definitely...I recommend you first put your boot in the freezer...yes the freezer with freezer bags full of water inside the actual shaft if the boot...once the bags have turned to ice this will begin the stretching of the boot...when you take the frozen bags out use the boot stretcher to stretch the boot slowly over about 2 days. I love this thing ...the only problem is that you can only stretch 1 at a time

Using 50/50 alcohol and water sprayed inside boot before stretching and depending on the thickness of leather. Calf leather takes about 2 to 3 weeks. I also oil the outside of boots before stretching and spraying the inside. I had bought 1 pair of old boots that took 3 months to stretch, because they had been in storage.

The shaft is right at 14”. It is pretty heavy so you will use it with your boot laying on its side after you have it stretched. Also it will take multiple stretches if you need to stretch your boot all along your calf and you have a long boot shaft. Don’t get me wrong; this is a wonderful gadget
