Yukon Gear & Axle YT P72 Bearing Puller for Toyota 8" Clamshell Design CV Axle

The clamshell too we received is not like the photo, they show a shaft about 8 inches long with a nut on the end to keep the shaft from rotating when using the tool, The tool we received the shaft is less than 4 inches long. When using the tool we were barely able to start the nut on the shaft because it was too short, then when tightening the nut to pull out the bearing the shaft began to rotate and we had nothing to keep it from turning do to the incredibly short shaft. Also the small piece on the end to pull out the bearing was too thick, we had to grind it down thinner to allow it to pull out the bearing. I would recommend a tool from a different supplier

Tool broke the first time I used it.Fits great on 3rd gen Tacoma. Made out of soft metal. Machined part of tool split in Half putting pressure on bearing. Maybe defective tool!

Used per instruction. The piece that goes in the clamshell would not fit between the old bearing and casing. It bent th tool to where it ripped out the old bearing. I had to cut the old bearing out. The new bearing from Yukon worked great!!!

Totally not worth buying tool snapped as soon as I used it one time and didn't even get the bushing out
