I've had this thermometer before. In Florida, it lasts for one season, so this is my replacement. The last one, the mercury stuck at one temperature and I wondered why it kept the same temperature even when I was adding cold water with the pool filler. Finally dawned on me it was time for a replacement. I've had the shark & the turtle, too. It's a good product, maybe I keep my pool temp a little higher than most and I keep burning them up. Anyway, it performs as expected and I love flamingoes soooo, here she is on repeat! :)

Great for what it does but the pink fades in the sun

This was very cute floating around our pool...until it wasn't. Worked fine, about a 2-degree difference between the temp our pool equipment registered but close enough. Unfortunately, it faded very quickly and, while it still works fine, it looks ugly and old after just one year. This shouldn't be something I have to replace every year and it seems pretty wasteful to me. I wouldn't buy it again.

I was skeptical at first, but I checked the accuracy with a calibrated digital food thermometer and it’s spot on. The kids like to untie it and drag it around the pool like it’s on a leash. Lol

It does it’s job, but wish the color did not fade so fast.

This took forever to come, and is not the greatest quality. It doesn't actually float properly, so the flamingo is always on it's side. It also faded to almost white within about a month and our pool is only in the sun for about 2 hours of the day. Cheap.
