Simple but nice looking swords. The smallest sword is rather large on a 1/144 kit. The "buster" sword is absolutely massive. It looks big even on a master grade.Warning, these come completely unpainted. They are completely gray. I don't find this to be an issue, but it should be noted.

Many people will want to buy this for gunpla, rather than kotobukiya kits. This "can" work, but there are some things you need to know first.From what I can tell, the holding slot on kotobukiya hands are wider, but much, much thinner. As a result, I have found that these fit into every hand I tried... at an angle, basically diagonally from one corner of the rectangular slot to the opposite corner. (at least on common hands; no idea about extra large hands).So you can make this work, but you have to pay careful attention to angles, poses, and the exact angle of the hands. The tilt seems about 30 degree to 45 degrees off center of the hand (with the edge going left or right depending on how you fit it in the whole), so account for that. This is easier with the extra hand kits, since they have a wrist joint that can help you adjust the angle. The buster sword has the most extreme version of this problem- you might have trouble doing a natural looking slashing pose, but you can do VERY well with a 'resting on the shoulder' pose.As a kotobukiya kit, these tend to have decent detail, but they are plain since they assume you will paint it. A golden metallic sharpie on the guards and pommels is enough basic work to make these interesting. If you want to properly paint, you will need a primer since this is dark gray plastic (although red gunpla marker did have a nice dark red wrap for the handles).

Fits most 1/12 scale figures as well as 1/144 and 1/100 model kits. I personally use mine as an art reference until i get my guts and cloud figures next year.

The 00 Gundam, and presumably others in that particular line, can hold the biggest sword's handle, but it is a little bit thick for many model kits in the 1/144 line. On the other hand, the rapier's handle is thin, so you may wish to wrap tape around it. If a model kit is holding it, anyway, it'd be difficult to see the tape, so it wouldn't be an issue.Cool accessories to lend a little bit of character to a model, or to use in a custom job.

These are just great to have as additions to your weapons options for many figures. The buster sword is sweet. The others are great too but the buster and claymore sold it for me. They do need paint but i imagine a simple paint scheme is fine and easy to do.

Overall neat little accessories for my figures, only gripe was that the buster sword was alittle too delicate, the handle snapped off after a small fall from the shelf.

These are great looking weapons. They work very well with 1:12 scale (6 inch) figures.

For just a runner of grey plastic swords they really do look very nice pretty detailed for what they are but a nice coat of paint will bring them to life drastically especially that buster sword!!! These are great works very very well with 144 scale kits .

Incredible quality and detail from Kotobukiya as always, these weapons look great and are very paintable even though they look great right off the runners anyways!
