Big Box of Fun
Used for Turnip28 I got so much bang for my buck. I love this kit, plenty of small details and a fair selection of options to customize your models. Adding extra kit to these as a base for conversion is a great start.

Very nice 25mm Nap Minis
i used to collect 15mm metal Napoleonic figures from 10 different companies all of varying quality and costs. Recently I have gotten into 25mm and generally, Perry molds and sculpts are very high quality and very nice poses. My only complaint is that like most miniatures, the traditional artistic modeling scale of "8-heads" tall human form is not followed strictly. They look a little "squat" like other miniature ranges and company sculpts. With that said, the hard plastic is of fairly high quality that has pretty good detail. Also, I prefer already built minis and gluing some of these tiny pieces is frustrating and takes a long time. Also some of the building stages, correcting, sanding and removing mold lines increases the time to get the figures ready to be painted. I know the other side to that argument is, all figures look the same, but I would rather not build minis this small. Overall, the French Nap Inf is the best sculpts, paperwork, etc. in the Napolenic line. With all of that said, I enjoyed my time with the minis and they look very nice in my display case painted and based. I would buy these again (even with my small complaints).

Need instructions and there are some design problems
The miniatures are good but require very careful assembly. You get 1 command sprue (6 figures), 2 elite/skirmisher sprues (4 figures each), and 6 line company sprues (5 figures each) for a total of 44 figures. While there are extensive painting instructions and also some flags, only the skirmishers have enough information for easy assembly. For the others, you have to guess which sets of equipment, heads, and equipment go together. Instructions on how to put them together would have been a welcome addition. The other bone I have to pick is with the way the sprues are constructed. Each part needs to be attached to the sprue with one or more attachment points. While thick attachment points make the whole thing more sturdy, parts need to clipped out and then carefully trimmed before assembly. If the attachment points are in the wrong place, the trimming may remove wanted detail. I found that many of the arms that were attached by thick attachment points too close to the epaulets, making it difficult to trim them to fit without cutting into the epaulet itself.Despite the above problems, the figures have generally good detail and minimal mold flash.

Nice minis
Highly detailed. Not hard to assemble. Includes guide sheet for color schemes. Not a ton of variety except for the “command sprue”, which has a ton of options to make your figures stand out.
