It does exactly what it says it and just seems a nicer solution that putting the actual pipe into the milk container.

I see this milk lance on a video on YouTube and thought it was just a gimmick but decided that if it worked it would save all the messing around with the milk jug . Well all I can say is it does the job perfectly. I peirce the carton and when done I can put the carton back in the fridge . The lance reaches the bottom of the carton so is the ideal size it’s very easy to clean just detach it from the machine and rinse under the tap all in all very easy to use looks good and maybe a bit expensive but I guess it will last for years so well worth the initial cost

Didn't know this existed and randomly spotted one on Amazon. Have a Melitta ts smart and connects without any difficulty. Saves on having to clean the milk container that came with it. Much better and more functional. Loses a star as it is a tad overpriced and could be a few mm longer to get all milk from carton.

Bit annoying having to pay this separately from the machine as it much easier to use than the milk container . There is nothing wrong with the milk container just that it takes up extra room in the fridge and it needs to be watched as the milk can go off. The other issue is making sure there is enough milk in the container for your drinks but not too much that it get wasted Using the lance ensures you are only using fresh milk as it sits in the milk carton when you are making a milk coffee, it is removed once the coffee making is complete and is easy to rinse out under a running tap. This ensures that you only use the milk required for your drinks and have used the lance in 1L and 1.75L cartons without issue. There is a removable cap on top of the black section which provides a straight through view of the stainless section of the lance. Makes more detailed cleaning easy.

The lance is well made and quality is good but has a bad design flaw, being as the purpose of the lance is to draw milk the obvious thing would be putting the lance directly into a milk carton and that's where the problem is, unfortunately the lance is about 2 inches too short to reach the bottom of a 1 or 2 litre carton which means that once you get beyond that point you have to pour milk into a jug which tbh defeats the purpose of the lance
