I am really impressed with the frame. I’ve only had it for 6 months so I can’t attest to its long-term value. But for now it is really holding up. It’s sturdy and looks good. My husband who builds houses for a living put it together-it took him a couple hours and he is fast. So be prepared to spend some time getting this together.

Once assembled we are happy with the bed. First they use upper case and lower case letters to differentiate the bed and hardware pieces with letters being repeated. Using double letters such as aa for hardware is a better choice. There were only 2 tools: an open end wrench and an Allen wrench but there was more emphasis on the tools than the assembly parts. When installing the R and S pieces it didn’t tell you which was on the top and which was on the bottom . We got to the end to install the long back piece to the already assembled bed and the 4 holes that the f bolt ( remember lower case f) were supposed to be screwed into did not align at all. There was no way to move the bed parts to get them to align so we had to skip them. Luckily the back inserts over a piece on the sides and a larger bolt goes through both pieces so it seems to be secure. There were too many circles and isolated pictures and absolutely no written instructions to help. We have assembled many ikea products and other manufacturers but this was by far the worst. It took 2 of us 3 hours to assemble: 60% trying to figure out the instructions and 40% actual assembly time. In the end it seems sturdy, is nice looking and my grandson should love it!

Love this! Beautiful and durable. But be warned..you need to get a few bolt end caps for the back or you can scratch up your wall (Amazon has sets starting as low as 5 bucks). Get this! You will be so glad

So cute and easy to assemble. Feels sturdy! I would say maybe wear gloves when assembling or wipe it down good first bc i did get a few metal splinters that were hard to get out!

I rated it a 3 mostly due to just awful instructions and difficulty in assembling. The instruction sheet is awful. There is no indication of how a part is to be oriented, so that in the future steps the holes are correct. Its tough to get through the first step, but after that the rest is not as horrible. You will need to look ahead a couple steps to figure it out. There is an email address for support, but it is not valid. It will take a couple hours or more to put together. One piece where 2 screws belong, just not milled in manufacturing, just missing. I left them off, I could have drilled a hole myself and put in a bolt.So once it's together, it seems like it will be ok. I will have to check and tighten parts as needed over time.

Very sturdy bed! Would recommend! Perfect for my craft room

Putting the bed together was difficult. Lots of pieces and poor instructions. After putting the bed together I come to a halt bc the main part of the day bed was defective and would not work without it. Refund process was a nightmare. I had to disassemble the bed back into small parts and fit back into the box. Buy duck tape to hold it all together. Door pick up option didn’t work. Went to wrong address. Had to wait longer to cancel that and do a drop off return. Lugging that heavy thing around was a challenge by myself. After it’s finally shipped the refund of Amazon credit will take almost 3 weeks.
