Nice👍
I really like these stones. Originally got these as replacement pieces in an old Oh-Wah-Ree game, they were the perfect size. They feel nice in the hand, the smooth tumbled pieces are perfect in game play. I used the extras for cover in my cacti-succulent pots. They look great and keep my sandy soil from blowing out when I do take my plants outside for sun. I am happy with price and amount of product received it was a rather large 5lb sack.

Exactly as described
Ordered on a Tuesday, arrived Wednesday, nice! The plastic mesh bag holding the stones was about the size of my large fist, a bit larger maybe (I wear x-large gloves for a reference). I ordered the small stones that indicated a 5 lbs. (pounds) bag. The rocks, the bag, came in a standard Amazon box about twice the size of the bag, and surrounded by 5-6 air pillows to fill up the inner space. I rinsed the rocks as there was bits of sand-like sediment (dust?) from the stones when I emptied the bag, not a lot and not bad. The stones are about the size of my fingertips, some smaller, some larger (approximately). And the bag of stones filled exactly the inside area of one vase that measures (in inches) 4 x 5 x 5 (height x width x depth, or 100 cubic inches (or 0.058 cubic feet). In other words, at a single rock depth, you could loosely cover about a 10x10 inch area with one bag. The rocks are nice, mostly clean looking, good variation of color as shown in the ad, very natural looking and not shiny (waxed). I hope this helps in understanding what is being sent. I used it to fill the bottom of a couple of vases. Thank for listening.

Yup! They're Rocks.
So, I am getting my Betta a new 5 gallon tank. I'm a fan of natural items. I was not sure how much I'd need to cover the bottom of the tank but due to price of these rocks and knowing I have a plethora available to me outside my door, I figured I'd start with 1 bag. Disclaimer: I'm a human of honest truth, so if you're sensitive please go to the next review. These are natural rocks, the same rocks you'd get from going to a real river, in fact there is even sand amongst the bag of natural rocks, there is also some soft rocks that you can squeeze between your fingers and turn to sand (I only had one like that). There are a few slightly rough rocks (I separated them into the red cup to put at the bottom of the tank, first). I mention this because I read reviews that "complained" their rocks were dirty and fell apart. People amaze me. So, if you're looking for clean, soft rocks- don't buy these and get yourself some polished rocks (however you probably need to wash those too). I simply put these in a strainer, ran water on them, massaged them to clean them off and pulled the rougher ones out. And magically I have beautiful, clean natural rocks. I have not put the tank together yet but I believe 1 bag may be just enough for a thin layer and cover the bottom. Conclusion: Folks these are natural River rocks they're dirty to start, you'll have to actually get your hands slightly dirty and clean them yourself, if the thought of that bothers you, don't buy them. Otherwise they seem to be great!

Great value
Bought this for my Betta fish tank (10 gallons) in living room to level up the gravel inside the container. These river stones are sleek and smooth (no sharp edges) to avoid abrasion and prevent injury to Betta fish’s delicate fins, meanwhile the dark shade of these rock pieces also brings out the vibrant color of my Betta fish (ruby red veiltail). Perfect size of each rock piece, plenty of it to decorate the entire fish tank, great purchase too. Would recommend it!

I purchased these for the aquarium. Unfortunately, after two days of cleaning, scrubbing, soaking and cleaning again, the rocks continued to excrete an oily residue. It appears 'polished' means literally polished with a substance, not naturally polished suitable for an aquarium. So, these rocks are nice for your potplants, or in the garden, but definitely not your fish tank.
