This filter does the job. Water in this area has a sulfur like odor that the filter significantly reduces.

We are having some serious issues with our well water and this filter has helped greatly! It installs very easily and is actually a better quality filter than the original. It would perform great for those with normal water as it removes taste and smell from water.

The filter has removed both chlorine and dissolved minerals to about 400 ppm. It noticeably softens the water here in Florida.

This is as good a value filter you'll find for an APEC water conditioner pre-filter (or whole house APEC water filtering system). The filter is good, but of course as APEC system owners know changing the filter is quite an ordeal.
