Protects bare metal very well
This stuff reminds me of AMSoil metal protector, even smell like it! I applied it to several bare metal parts last fall and they survived the winter rain and snow with no corrosion. Smells bad and has a amber color, but it protects really well.

Great stuff
Have used this product for 30 years as a battery protectant on golf car batteries. Works extremely well. You can break the connection and out it back together and still have great protection. Won't wash off, and it drys which is nice. Doesn't get all over you like the red stuff .

I hate rust!
This stuff is great for keeping your tools and equipment from rusting. Mine have been taking a beating out in my unheated garage, where temperature swings and humidity cause condensation to form on everything, so my tools look like they've been left out in the rain. Now I just cover anything susceptible to rust with this stuff. I thought I'd have to clean this stuff off before I could use my tools, but in most cases it isn't necessary. It's sticky and greasy when it goes on, but it dries to a thin film after a few days. If you have equipment like wheelbarrows or wagons that tend to get left out, and you hate to let them rust but don't have time to keep them painted, just spray them with this. If the surface is already covered in rust, this stuff just soaks in and keeps it from rusting further. Incidentally, a few months ago I laid some small metal parts on a piece of scrap lumber to spray them. When I was done I tossed it pack on the pile. Now I'm noticing that it hasn't weathered where the rust inhibitor is. This might be a quick way to preserve unfinished wood that isn't worth painting or varnishing.

No drip coating when dry
Dries to a wax. Used on steel wheel on spare tire under pickup truck. Don't know how long it will last

Good stuff at great price!
Good stuff. Use it on outdoors eqipment, like bottom of gas grill. Or spray in usually inaccessible areas in car trunk whick get exposed to moisture. Useful on stored tools as well. For very valuable tools, clean well, spray, allow inhibitor to set up, and roll prepped tool in waxed paper. Now the tool will withstand stoage even in damp areas, although drier storage always makes more sense. I keep my car jacks prepped this way, ready to go if needed, with the moving parts lubed by the wax. Goes on easy, but sets up as a heavy wax. CRC product are usually 100% reliable, too

Great metal preservative!
This is a great sticky oil for metal parts exposed to moisture that not painted. Great coating for in door automotive lock mechanisms and window roller guides instead of that white lithium grease.

The material works, even in high-humidity
We have a lot of 'condensing' weather here -- humidity above 90%, and often dew-points at the OAT. So, equipment stored in covered but unconditioned spaces often corrodes badly. Since most of our equipment has finished machined surfaces, they MUST be protected from rust. This stuff protects like a seamless coating of epoxy, but just wipes off with a little mineral spirits. I use it, and love it! L

Best corrosion protector
Great salt water protectant. I use it on all electrical connections on my boats. This sprays on wet and drys a waxy film. I have upset this for years and if does a great job keeping the salt from corroding my electrical connections.
